Wow goes to show just how bad Sideshow's factory paints used to be and how far they've come.

Too bad those nice Luke likenesses went to waste with the factory paint apps. Be great if SSC offered a repaint/head replacement program!

You guys are so picky. It clearly came out fantastic. The sculpt, clothing, accessories, light up saber etc. Sideshow did an amazing job and hit Obi out of the park. So stop whining and saying the Hasbro is better. The Hasbro doesn't even come close. I don't see any problems here.

U sir need your eyes check if u think that sculpt is good the likness is not there period. U only sound like a ssc fanboy if u try and argue! We all want ssc to come threw with great sculpts. Were not just making a big deal for nothing.

Not trying to fight we all have opinions but can't judge til in hands. I'm no fan boy I myself is picky but give things a chance. I don't like when collectors get picky right before the product comes out. Not trying to argue or battle anyone just don't like seeing bashing. Lets just get along and see in hand pics and I will give my straight up honest opinion when mine arrives.

I've never liked the face since the start, but yes, Nathan painted this and he did say that it looks better in person; that the pics just aren't doing it justice.

The important thing to me is the saber system, I know its a gimmick to alot of people, but for Jedi and Sith I am glad to see this upgrade and I am glad to see Medi and SSC pretty much simulataneously embracing this.

Yet you go into HT threads and see tons of ppl complaining saying it doesn't look anything like ____ actor but the first thing so many tend to say in SS figure threads is "SS should just let HT do all their human characters."

Yes the sculpt is good compared to there earlier offering's but seriously If we buy this sub par sculpt they will keep thinking there mediocre sculpts are good enough when I for one am tired of half *** sculpts with half *** paint jobs.

I own Every single jedi/sith they offered! That said there is many more collectors that feel the same as i do and we wont give them any more money.

If sideshow went to the custom boards there is many artist's that can produce 1/6 sculpts right here for less tan 700$ and they would put to shame these offerings!

I think the proto looked slightly better but i def like this figure and can't wait to have it with my qui-gon jinn.
I am bothered by the neck a little, it looks like there is a gap there and the robe isn't covering the chest very much.
I also would like to see how the light-up saber looks in hand and the forearm looks.

Yes I agree with you. The truth is for sideshow standards its very strong... But HT Luke made all the humans obsolete. If you want the cartoony bobblehead sideshow offerings and the continuity that brings that's fine but the truth is you simply can't put this next to Luke believably.

The most important to me now is I will recreate that iconic "Battle of the fates" scene in 1/6 version, in the near next days !!!

There is a very possible $100 difference between this SSC STAR WARS figure, and what the price would be if it had been an HT STAR WARS figure. You want HT quality at SCC price, and we are the ones being unrealistic?
