Thank you, all for the positive feedback. Here are a few shots of the clear tube. It was a pain in the butt. SS could have cast this in clear resin and painted the shell. Ill also write what mods I did later, when I get my laptop back from the kids.

Looks incredible. Really plays up what is great about the stock figure while removing the flaws. Love the recoloring of the pouches/armor; looks perfect.

The only other things I'd ask about - are you planning to lighten up the coat (even just with a light dusting of silver) and are you planning to darken the head a little (seems like the costume mask has some almost black areas)?

This modding clearly shows this figure can go to 100%. Love it.

Awesome mods......Yeah, that was the one downgrade change from prototype to production. What a difference....

I am trying to find out what the exact color of Zuckuss's robe was during the ESB filming - if I find out, will post here

The more I stare at this photo, the more convinced I am that the Zuckuss robe was just brown, but was kinda shiny and what we are seeing is a reflection from the lights.....

Sideshow got the colors right. Maybe expect for a head. That seems ... weird combinations of colors. Brown and tan.

Yes, I does really seem like they chose the right colors. The head, punches and coat could use a little more ‘weathering’, but otherwise it seems like they did right.

Besides the head popping off super easy (and thanks guys for letting me know a lot of you have the same issue); has anyone noticed the big front pouch is attached via velcro? Pretty interesting indeed. I was trying to figure out if the whole belt/harness is removable - like attached in the front..but it doesn't seem removable.

Wor-Gar, I'm glad you like that one. Jabba's chalice was the only thing I could find that would tie Han back to Jabba.

I figured my Zuckuss will get dirty enough over time as I handle him.

JB, I love that you have all the BHs, which is your favorite?

I have the last 3 coming sometime during the week, I had to go with Ver.2 IG-88 as I refuse to pay evilbay's prices. I'll be fine without the axe.

I noticed that myself....and all the pouches actually open. Which is cool and all. I don't want to force the harness off and run the risk of damage

I decided to add a bit of a wash to the recessed areas - probably gonna dial it down a bit with a later coat



and since I like Zuckuss with boots, I am gonna cheat a tad. All BH except her will get the current, standard stand. Zuckuss will get the thinner, older one. It achieves the effect, and it's good for me

Does the Sideshow Zuckuss figure have two "bottles" or just one? I never actually noticed that Zuckuss has two of those glass bottles.

Slightly obscured under his right "tube" and pointing directly under his chin (basically opposite the one that's very visible.)

In looking over saved pics I have of the Sideshow figure, it looks like Sideshow didn't notice it either. Now that I'm looking for the second bottle, its pretty clear on all the reference pics - he definitely has two "bottles."

EDIT: It calls out a second bottle on that 501st page you linked to.

I'm pulling together an assortment of the best Zuckuss ref pics I've assembled over the years and I'll post them. It seems like as you said, the Sideshow brown coat is closer to correct than initially thought, though it's still a bit too reddish and dark. What it needs is some lighter weathering dappled onto it to make it more motley in color.

and holy cow! Yup, there it is. A 2nd 'bottle.' I've never noticed that ever before. There is no 2nd bottle on the sideshow one
