Dredd would be sick. Awesome costume.

Oh yeah, forgot that one.

I?ve always had a place in my heart for Tango & Cash.
Maybe he could get Kurt Russell to sign over his likeness and release a two pack?

Stallone as a well-dressed, well-educated guy in glasses just never worked for me. But it is unique for him I guess.

I think the main characters would obviously be Rocky and Rambo. 2nd tier would probably be Expendables, Dredd, Demolition Man and maybe Cobra. After that you’ve got movies like Cliffhanger, NightHawks, Copland, Rhinestone, Assassins, Over the Top, Paradise Alley and the odd assortment of others. The other issue is licensing. While most, if not all, of the 3rd tier licenses are probably free and clear, the 1st and 2nd tier licenses may be tied up for the most part. I believe Hot Toys still lists Rocky and Expendables on their website, although that may not necessarily mean that the licenses are active. That said, Stallone Shop would probably only be interested in producing figures of him (i.e. partial licenses, meaning no co-stars or supporting characters).

Yep, I think I appreciated the novelty of him playing against type and Kurt Russell being in the more typical Stallone role.

That's obvious. What I meant was, does anyone want a figure of Stallone beyond Rocky and Rambo? Honestly... its a fun thought but would you pay $250 for Rhinestone or Paradise Alley or even Demolition Man?

I'll be curious to see who actually buys that Cobra figure. I mean, even the most devoted fan of Stallone would likely stop at 4-5 figures of him in anything but Rambo and Rocky.

Its like collecting Harrison Ford figures. Han Solo and Indiana Jones and Rick Deckard... then Fugitive, Jack Ryan... but who would actually go so far as John Book or Allie Fox (Mosquito Coast)?

I hope they make this one. It's his best role by far.

If the timing works for me to afford it, I'd be tempted to get a Demolition Man figure. I'm definitely up for a new Barney Ross so long as it's not from Expendables 2, worst look for him with the fu man chu. I'd also consider a Latura from Daylight and Wrath from Assassins. Again, it's all timing though, if these go up for order and little time to save for them, I'll probably have to pass on even Rocky or Rambo.

Beyond Rocky and Rambo, I'd get Dredd and Demolition Man Spartan but that's it. I was never interested in Expendables figures even from HT. That said, I'm sure there are superfans who would scoop up anything Stallone, be it Rhinestone, Assassins, Over the Top or Stop or My Mom Will Shoot. The question is, are there enough of those fans to justify a figure run? Since Sly's look doesn't typically change much from movie to movie, some figures could simply be an outfit swap. And again, signed and numbered figures with COAs could be a strong incentive, and since they would be coming from the Stallone Shop vs. a 1/6 company, not out of the realm of possibility.

Looks a bit better than we saw before which got annihilated with critique and rightfully so.
As always nothing matters until the production piece is in hand any new company it’s a total crapshoot prior to that to what you will get

First Blood is a must, but beyond that it depends on how good they look, when they are released, how much they cost, and what else is on the market that I want more.

But I would very seriously consider Rambo (4), Rocky, Nighthawks, Demolition Man and maybe even Judge Dredd, Tango & Cash, and Cop Land, just as I will consider Cobra when it hits, as they are all distinct looks from different parts of his career over the years.

Ideally, I'd like to see them move on to Rambo 4 and 5 for Rambo movies after this First Blood. Rambo 2 and Rambo 3 have had lots of good representation in collectibles, Rambo 4 and particularly Rambo 5 are sorely unrepresented in licensed collectibles, and I don't care that Sly's shop sold that crappy Rambo 4, based on the glimpses of these first few figures, they can do better than that, but Rambo 5 would be great, I don't have anything representing that in my collection right now, but I have 1-4 covered.

In 1/6 scale, yes, probably followed by HT M65, then HT Rambo 3, and from there, they're all about equal.

I'm hoping this Stalloneshop figure is leaps better than the HT M65. That was a long time ago.

That ThreeZero Rambo is really great. I don't personally care for the hair sculpt but overall its is an amazing Rambo and pretty much covers the "superhero soldier" he became starting in Rambo 2.

Picking between First Blood and Rambo 2 is a bit like picking between Alien and Aliens. They are so different in tone, character, and style. Cameron was really good at taking something great and really changing it up, making it different, but just as good in its own way.
