It seems like it's being marketed to people who have no idea what sixth scaled figures are.

"Took a year to make it perfect" Oh, really?? Every other figure in the world takes at least a year from prototype to production, if not longer.

Amazing the way people?s minds work, because the figures are not a total disaster people are convincing themselves that they are good, when they are, in fact, below average at best.
I don?t even think Star Ace would release a figure with jeans that look like the ones that Cobretti is wearing.
Bad doll wardrobe that I can?t believe is actually being released with a high end collectible.
The reality will sink in when Stallone charges $350.00 - $400.00 per figure for this new amazing standard that he has ushered in.
Why wouldn?t he?
He has revolutionized 1/6 scale and there has never been ANYTHING else like these masterpieces on the market until he came along and changed the industry.
They?ll definitely be priced foolishly, I get the feeling that Stallone is targeting people who collect movie memorabilia who don?t know any better versus 1/6 scale figure collectors.

I don’t get you guys. I like what I see, though I know I won’t like the price. Those are great so far.
Yeah that Rambo headsculpt looks great! :clap I hope they fully reveal the eyes soon. I think his jacket looks good too, so I'm happy lol

I won?t argue with good, don?t agree but not going to die on that hill? GREAT? Every thing is obviously subjective but not sure I can understand a collector necessarily being able to describe these as GREAT.

As long as this Rambo looks better than the old HT, which shouldn't be too difficult, even if made by a third party, I'll be happy. So far it looks better in every way possible, but that's the prototype.

The prototype does look pretty great. The "leather" leg strap on the sheath is a nice touch, even though he didn't wear it like that with the green jacket or on the right leg.

The collar on the red sweater looks much better on the new one too.

Hopefully ANY 1/6 figure maker can surpass a figure released 14 years ago.
If they cannot, they really shouldn?t be releasing anything.

I'd say if these fail that'll leave us on a cliffhanger as to whether any more Stallone figures happen at all....

A Cliffhanger indeed.

In the 1/6 world there's No Place to Hide, and companies must Dredd that collectors will be Driven to go Over the Top and completely Bananas. First Blood in the water of a company on Rocky ground and it's Farewell, My Lovely, unless they have an Escape Plan and manage an Escape to Victory.

Well, as far as Stallone's filmography that's quite the Demolition, man. Shall we Lock Up this thread?
