OH! OH! OH!

A "Cobra" animated series (rated PG) would be an excellent idea for today's youth.

Lieutenant Marion "Cobra" Cobretti can fight crime and lawlessness with minimal use of non-lethal passive force while respecting the opposing views of criminals within society and advocating tolerance and understanding to those who oppose the law.

The animated series would be executive produced by Nicky C from the Sly Stallone Shop with zero acknowledgments or credits given to anyone else.

NOTE: The preceding is obviously sarcasm, but I'm stating it as such for transparency to avoid any misunderstanding.

Shame you had to but a disclaimer at the end I thought the idea had legs.
Like in robocop 2 or 3 I forget when murphy went pc.
I was always thinking finally it could have been a much nicer film but they gave him electro shock therapy making him a homicidal maniac.

It is clear that today it would be impossible to propose a children's/youth animation series like this. I've seen documentaries in which even then it was surprising that a character like Rambo ended up being a sales phenomenon in products aimed at the little ones (lunch boxes, toys, etc.).

While adults may be perplexed by it, it essentially cashed in on the GI Joe craze. The first Rambo thing I ever watched in my life was the cartoon series, then eventually Rambo 3 taped off a TV airing where it was edited to nearly PG level.

That’s because Boomers and Gen Xers were a lot more chill than the overly sensitive and uptight Millennials and Gen Zs, who seem more prone to Cancel Culture and unjustified outrage due to how something makes them FEEL.
Actually, I'm a Millennial, and had the Coleco Rambo toys as a child in the 80s 😊

Most Gen X and Boomers were too old to be watching Rambo cartoons or playing with toys in the mid to late 80s.

Those Rambo figures from NECA were the first ones that seriously introduced me to figure collecting. I have all the ones that were released in the series, but the last movements with the character were erratic. The first version of Rambo-FB2 came without the bow, which they later decided to add (in red) in a version with video game colors and later, already in black, in the exclusive edition of 2015 tribute to Force of Freedom (which by the way did not correctly represent the appearance of the character in the series: for example, the headband should have been red). They had considered the tanktop version ("Bow Attack"), but ultimately didn't release it recognizing that Rambo didn't sell as well as other characters. I remember that there was a little debate about whether the character's time had passed, but there were also doubts about the policy that NECA had followed with the form and order of its releases.

Ooof - where did I get "Night Assault" from, haha!?

Bow Attack - this is the one I wanted most.
Alas, HIYA Toys to the rescue!! ;) Don't judge, but I actually prefer 1:18 to 1:12...

Hiya's Rambo figures can be amazing! It's been a while since I expanded the 1:18 collection, so this would be a good time to do so. I've passed up his Predators, Aliens and Robocops, because I already have a lot of NECA ones and sometimes you have to select priorities, but I won't pass up the Rambo series...

Damn right. Cartoons are for babies.

Yeah all cartoons are for children EXCEPT all the ones I watched as a child and also Doraemon, Shin Chan, Arale, Adventure Time, Gumball, Uncle Grandpa, Steven Universe, Teen Titans Go!, Bare Bears, Clarence, some others I don't remember right now and, above all,

REGULAR SHOW
