What happened to the times when decent action flicks made money? ____.

The pussification of America has been ongoing for a while now. This may bomb, but i will see it just cause my testosterone levels say so.

I swear, if Expendables doesn't make a huge mountain of money all hope is lost in this world. A-Team bombed, so did Predators. What happened to the times when decent action flicks made money? ____.

This movie in particular probably won't do well because most of the mains are older guys that today's generations won't be that familiar with or care that much about, it's really a movie for those that grew up with or came to love 80s action films.

The thing I like about Stallone's recent film efforts is that I don't think he's looking to make big bucks, he just has movies he wants to make and he's doing it, they hope for success but they're not after major numbers.

I think I'm going to find this movie a gem amongst the action films of the last 10-15 years, once Stallone and Schwarzenegger got out of their prime in action roles in the 90s, things just changed in the genre, this'll be a nice blast from the past.

Actually, most kids grew up with Stathem and Li...so I think he made a wise choice picking them along side the classics. It will draw in the younger crowed. The 17-20 year olds for sure.

Statham maybe, I'm not sure how big Li is with domestic audiences, he'll probably help the foreign box office sales, but these movies tend to do well in the foreign market anyway.

The thing I like about Stallone's recent film efforts is that I don't think he's looking to make big bucks, he just has movies he wants to make and he's doing it.

I dunno, the recent Rocky and Rambo just scream "I need cash" to me. I'm sure he also wants them to be good. But the motive is suspect when you start to rehash familiar successful labels.

At least this is something new. Although it does feel a bit like Cobra II: The Team.

I think this movie will do really well because of the the entire "all star" cast. And Im sure todays generation of kids still know who Actors like Stallone and Willis are.(At least I hope so.) The main reason It probably wont attract to a younger crowd is because of its R rating.

Read somewhere that stallone was initially trying to get kurt russell for the part that went to statham and jackie chan for the part that went to jet li.
