I think 1/12 scale Mezco has a much better likeness than Star Ace.

Well I wish I could say I was shocked that these initial photos make the figs look like ass, but it is Star Ace.

I think those are not bad... if it was a third party figure with around $150 price point. It's around Present Toys quality but with a Hot Toys price. Blitzway will do them with around the same price but at least a better sculpt. Star Ace should re-evaluate, either lower their price (unlikely) or raise the quality, which is also unlikely if the people behind their company decisions are still the same. Change to a better quality factory might be a start.

90% of it looks like crap but the headsculpts are actually not half bad.
In fact, Winston head looks better (overall) than the Blitzway final product because of the paint color.
Obviously the fact they don't look like they have a neck is the worst offender.

However, if I took those head sculpts and put them in suits or a labcoat for Egon on a proper body I think its actually pretty good. That said, of course i'm not buying it.

Good god, Star Ace need to just pack it in. The proton pack has issues- the blue light sequence is wrong. The ribbon cable doesn't pass through a clip. The neutrona wand has a blue cable where it should be a green one. Those gloves! Bush league. The old Matty Collectors looked better.
