My only problem with CSL is Cal getting back together with his wife. Or rather, the movie framing his cheating wife as someone to win back. Kate was the move and it's not even close.

And I'm an Adidas man. 🤌

While I agree that Andor is not kid friendly that doesn’t mean kids won’t watch or like it. My 8 and 11 year olds love it. It really tested the 8 year olds patience in the first few episodes but by the time of The Eye he really turned around on the show and was just all in.

.
The show and Diego Luna were nominated for Critic's Choice awards.
Andor was nominated for Best Drama series and Best Lead Actor for Diego at the Golden Globes. He's only the second actor in the franchise to be nominated after Alec Guinness đź‘Źđź‘Źđź‘Źđź‘Źđź‘Źđź‘Ź
Nice! Again would easily add SkarsgĂĄrd and O'Reilly there with him, well deserved nominations. The show as a whole deserves all the accolades it can get.

Hopefully this helps encourages HT in at least the main three leads getting made

I watched Face/Off for the first time in quite a few years the other night and was surprised to realize how similar its prison was to the one in Andor. Electric floors, special boots, prisoners causing a riot in order to escape and then a leap of faith to the ocean below before a long swim to the shore.

Many years since I watched it so don't recall but that is kinda cool

Plagerism!

I heard that Gilroy was flying back from New York and was seated next to Cameron who suggested the prison details to him. Cameron... that sneaky bastard.

Well, I'm bored out of my skull so I decided to give Andor a proper try.

I still find the pace to be slower than a dying snail, and the characters are mostly completely uncompelling. I'm four episodes in and I'm having a hard time caring about any of them, especially our lead character who has all the charisma of a used dishrag. (I only saw Rogue One once and I slept through a lot of it, so I barely remember this guy...he's so tiny! And even with a goatee he just looks like a little kid. Weird.)

I'm on episode 5 now. There finally seems to be some semblance of a plot. The rebel leader lady Andor meets in the hills is very unpleasant.

At least it managed to keep my attention up until this point. That is, until we get to Mon Mothma's home life and everything comes to a crashing halt. What the hell is this, Downton Abbey? Why are these snooty snoots talking with thick upper crust British accents and wearing kimonos and arguing about the servants? God, tell me there's not another 8 hours of this to sit through.

I can't see why you guys are so ga-ga over this. Sure, it's different from the other SW stuff, but is that a good thing? It's completely devoid of ounce of humor or FUN. Zero fun.

It all feels so thoroughly British....like something I'd see on PBS in the 70s or 80s.

I'll stick with it and see where it goes, but man....this thing is a joyless slog.
