7-10 years of natural progress did that in fairness. If this one looked like this and still had the same kind of content as BF2, or even more I'd be much happier. Still, at least it does look good.

yeah, very true but our minds always make things from our memories out to be better than they actually were. I used to play the older versions with my son not too long ago and I was like "Didn't they look better than this??" to myself Same thing when Rogue Squadron came out on the Nintendo Gamecube. Only reason I bought it, and only ever had like 5 or 6 games for it. I have it in a box somewhere, I should hook that up and let my son play that too!!

I noticed that the, "captured from a PS4" messaging found in the Hoth gameplay video was notably absent in last night's Tatooine gameplay video; guess that's why it looked considerably better. Still, the Hoth footage was nothing to sneeze at.

Yeah, the new footage of survival looks alot more interesting (and more graphically impressive) than the Hoth multi footage earlier IMO.

I'm just used to the fact that the end product will not look even remotely as good and the gameplay may be very broken.

Anyway, reserve my judgement 'till the actual gameplay footage with actual gamers in control.
If it's not good I'll just stick to the original Battlefront - great multiplayer game, even by today's standarts.

Yeah, that's every time after e3, I believe there have been a few lawsuits due to false advertisement, I wonder if devs have learnt nothing from the Colonial Marines catastrophe.

I thought this looked great, especially the end with Luke. As we all know, looks can be deceiving. If I had one gripe, it seems like the maps they showed off are a little claustrophobic. Hoth in Battlefront 1 and 2 was huge and open. This new one seems really small with the AT-AT following a rail trail. That other map (which I don't think is Tatooine) does too.

This inspired me to pull out my Battlefront 1 and 2 games though. My favorite level on Battlefront 1 is the Cloud City platforms map with the ground and sky battles. I remember playing online and everyone would end up fighting to the death on that middle bridge platform. I actually bought Battlefront 2 on steam since my PS2 version wasn't working and the graphics are great. I forgot how fun the Death Star Map was. The only thing I hate is the AI and Bothan Spies.

If this new one is as fun as the first two and has two or three different maps, I'll be pleased. If not, I'll always have the first two.
