Sure, it's DICE. But the gameplay will feel very different. There's not going to be all that much ADS.

My biggest worry is that this will become another BF Hardline. We had the same worries about that one, lack of content etc. Sure the gameplay was okay, but is that enough? Hardline is dead already on PC, there is barely anybody playing and it's hardly an old game. I am worried for Battlefront, but hopeful at the same time.

No way. This is Star Wars. They are making a game with an extremely broad audience (good for me, even more Christmas noobs to tear to pieces). This game will have a huge player base for many years. Besides, there is a lack of a good SW game right now. SWTOR is going to increase in numbers soon, but people want to taste something new.

Heh, you say that like Dice can't make something different. They could but they probably don't have time. EA has to start cashing out on SW as soon as possible. They probably just took the exact same frostbite system from BF4 and built new SW assets for it. It'll play and feel the same as BF4, but the sounds and visuals will be just different enough that nobody but me will care.

The fact that there won't be ADS as much and third person makes me think that it will feel like more than just a skin.

If you've watched the gameplay videos then it's clear that the gameplay is very different from Battlefield, the only thing that's really similar is that they're both FPS's
It's also the biggest project they've worked on since BF3

If you say so. I just see BF4. Not trying to stop anyone from getting it. I'm just not feeling it beyond Star Wars of course.
