I don't see them actively trying to stop mods, but I doubt they'll have mod tools available.

By the way, I tried playing Battlefront 2 again the other day, it's pretty terrible by today's standards. Especially the AI

They do not want mods, cause they want your money. Mods will make it free.

What do you mean by mods will make it free?
I don't see them blocking mods, there's no reason to. They're not going to help it along, but that hasn't stopped people from making mods for games that don't have tools for it.

I think he means they want to sell as much as possible as DLC, so major mods probably wouldn't be tolerated as they would in other titles. Weren't they banning people on origin for using an FOV mod in Hardline? That was necessary for some people to actually play the game, they released HL without such a simple (and necessary) option, and then banned people for fixing it themselves.

I just finished SW Racer, had so much fun with it apart from the frustrating issue with the zero G parts.

Part of the issue could be the online nature of the game, they don't want people to cheat. I wouldn't think that people would be able to create content on the level of the DLC without them releasing real tools for it, even adding character models/spaceships would be a challenge without tools.

Shame its mostly cinematics dramatising things. I wish you could take cover and things like that

Thought 1: Trailer makes it seem better, good. Hope to see more.
Thought 2: Previous was a demo, so they better have more for the release.
Thought 3: Trailers can/are deceiving.
Thought 4: Now matter how much better they make it seem, I am sure EA will screw it up somehow.
Thought 5: I have been jade enough for long enough that, I will just do the usual...not buy into the hype and wait for the release.

Thought 6: The toothless mexican video is already played out enough to not even need to watch...

Aaaaand EA just raised the price of all their games in Canada. Base version of Battlefront is $80.

I locked my preorder in at $48 during E3 promo couple years back

****ing eh

No, it's quite common for Canada/Europe/Australia to get screwed in pricing. For example, the PS4 costs 349 euros, which is a lot more than $349

Yep, this needs sorting big time, it sucks. Especially when it concerns digital content that has no added shipping or production costs.
