That Stormtrooper is going to get it I think. Imagine him being caught relaxing in the throne. Holy sith! Funniest thing I saw all day.

Got my plane tickets ordered--
Now I just need to pack and wait 11 days

Can't believe you just made flight arrangements. Hope you got a good deal. I fly in nine days!

:panic: :panic: :panic:

From the mobile app:

We’ve updated the SWCV schedule again! Didn’t we just do that? Yeah. Why’d we update it again? We’ll be simulcasting The Main Event to these stages -- Digital Stage, Behind-The-Scenes Stage, Celebration Fan Stage, Star Wars Fan Movie Stage, Collectors Stage, and the Star Wars Classroom. Revised wristband details are coming, but start digesting the latest and greatest CV schedule right here...

So what does this mean?

We shall see. I'm keeping my eyes peeled for new information from either the CV website or the mobile app. Could be good news, or it could make things worse.

Do we have a roll call for all freaks attending? maybe a way to get in touch with each other like a cell phone text message list?

Attending the whole show or just the Main Event? I'm sure you must mean the whole show Anzik, and I'm also sure you are aware of the Freaks Party on Saturday night. Then there is also MEFCO...

I mean the convention as a whole.
I'll have my son with me so my participation will be limited to whats not going to bore an 11 yr old to tears and he can only go to so many strip clubs at his age, and he can't drink much either.

:lol

Well, I quit drinking almost one full year ago, so I can hang with your son. Anyway, the list is a good idea, so we know how strong our Freak force is at the convention. I think it should probably be included in this main thread, so whoever started it (IrishJedi) can update the first post or something.

furystorm - I'm going! Four day pass, see the sig, thanks bam!

All McQuarrie's prints have been limited to 125...I don't think his CV print will sell out at $180. His CE and CJapan had enough leftovers for SW shop to sell after those conventions...

There were three prints at CIV. The Droids and Luke prints that were sold at his booth and they were both 125each. There was also a cloud city print at the CIV store with edition of 200.

I'm glad I don't care for the Bounty Hunter print by McQuarrie, as it will save me some change for other purchases during the show. I still do need at least one print of his on my wall, but as of this date I only have the Art of book by Dreams and Visions press. So much more for the money really, the images just don't go up on the wall.

I am trying to make plans to see all the great stuff at con---
One of the things I want beside the Crumb print, Wampa and Darth Gator shirt, art pieces (for me and several freaks), Legodudes is the cereal boxes---Ackbar and the Hutt one.
Does anyone have a list of boxes and what panel they will be given out?

Last time the big piece for panels were medallions. They were random when they were given out at the end of a panel. We ended up sitting in panels for almost 2 days straight trying to get my buddy a full set and with some help from us doing some trades he got them all.

If I were you, I would check on rebelscum.com for information like that. You'll probably be able to find it there.

Question from a new attendee: Although I remember opening ceremonies at CIV on the only day I could attend, which was Friday, I don't know when they are taking place during CV. Is the panel titled Celebrating Celebration with Steve Sansweet on Thursday at 2:30 the actual opening ceremonies? I was listening to the Forcecast again and they mentioned not to miss the opening ceremonies.

I'm going over my schedule again. I'm way to psyched for CV! :panic:

Another question which is really annoying me:

Do they clear panel rooms between panels? I must know! I can plan much more efficiently if I know I can already be in a panel ahead of others I want to see.

It seems to depend on the panel and who is working it. At CIV they seemed to clear out for some and for other they didn't. I can think of a few bigger ones they did but some of the small one where medallions were handed out I cant remember them ever clearing the room out. It is always a double edge sword if you dont clear a room out it sucks to sit in line for an hour and have zero chance to get in but then if you want to stay all day you should be able too.

A great majority of the prints offered I think shouldn't even have made the cut. I would be embarrassed to offer some of those as an artist myself.

There's like 5 good ones. Some look like either a kid drew them, or they are merely photoshop collages or photos with photoshop filters applied to them. I hurts me inside to see them offering such prints. I could totally jump in there and whip most of them off the floor.

Shame.

'I dont think there is single photoshop collage, most of those artists are so good you think they are photoshop of real pictures. I also dont think that all of these are completed versions. I am 99.99999% sure Dormans is sketch not the actual print.

Also where can we see you incredible art skills?

Or they just trace over them in photoshop right? There's just a lot that look rather amateurish, I don't mean to hurt any feelings but I cannot lie about it.

Well yea Dorman's looked like it was just a piece to plan out the colors and spacing and what not. Because he is a really good artist, one of the few featured in the line up. Also is a no brainer is McQuarrie because the man is only a master but a legend.

My art skills? Well what do you want to see?
