Or they just trace over them in photoshop right? There's just a lot that look rather amateurish, I don't mean to hurt any feelings but I cannot lie about it.

Well yea Dorman's looked like it was just a piece to plan out the colors and spacing and what not. Because he is a really good artist, one of the few featured in the line up. Also is a no brainer is McQuarrie because the man is only a master but a legend.

My art skills? Well what do you want to see?
Lets see you do any of the ones you believe was dont by a kid and do it better. Lets see some im progress photos with initial sketch, got to make sure you dont use photoshop or trace anything.

Oh and you do mean to hurt feeling , if you not you would be a real man and not say anything about bad ones , just say I really like these.

I would and could if I cared enough to prove my point. No need to be snappy.

I would not be doing any justice to any person telling them their art is good when it is not. You don't give them anything but false hope, so yes I am a real man because I tell it like is. And you even admitted there are bad ones lol. So I cannot sit by as an artist and SW fan that some people are actually willing to pay money for subpar art as long as their favorite character is in it. And that's how they bank on making money, throw Boba Fett in anything and it'll sell.

Just check my art gallery on my profile to see a small fraction of my stuff if you are so interested.

I never say that any are bad, I said there are some I really like there is a big difference.

Oh and I looked at some of your work and some of them just look like those kids watercolor books where they use way to much water and it runs all over the place.:rotfl

Righttttt. Classy. I like your jokes.

I guess I should jump in line and only draw Star Wars characters with really bad proportions?

Hey guys - couple things.

1) You all hit the nail on the head with the McQuarrie piece and its price. He's a legend. He rules. He's not in good health. All true. Plus, from what Ralph's guys told me, the piece is going to be very large.

2) No need to argue about the quality of the prints in the art show (although thanks for all the passion!) Different strokes for different folks. :) Starkiller, you said there's five good ones... well, I hope you buy those. :hi5:

Sent a list to a friend who will be trying to get me a few of these prints. They're pretty damn awesome IMO.

I'm going to be totally freaked out until I have my two prints in hand. Especially considering the master and knight badges get in a half hour early every day.

Yea just compared to the last few years of celebration prints I'm a bit disappointed at the offerings this year.

I'm not so much disappointed with the Art as I am with the amount they'll be selling. I'm seeing that most of the artist are offering only about 250 prints. Seems a bit small for a 4 day con with thousands of people going.

And it true what fury said, by the time us regular folk get there, they will probally be gone cuz of the VIP attendees.

I just got two tix for Sat. for $35 a pop. :rock

Driving up from Tampa Friday nite to stand in line to see Stewart/Lucas Interview. If anyone wants to hang out, I'll be the guy wearing this shirt:

:exactly:

Is anyone here a Master?

I'm a Master, of spending money. But unfortunately not a badge carrying member of the elite for this event. Will definitely think about that if I'm ever able to attend another Celebration. I think there are 200 Knights and 200 Masters. Is that right?

Check out our thread for the overnight camp out for the Main Event.

Sorry, I didn't mean for my pessimism to affect any of you, and I think as long as we stick to the prints first agenda everyone will be alright. I really don't think 400 Masters and Knights and the exhibitors, etc. will cut too far into the availability. I know I'm going to be peeved if the two I want are gone already, or allotted day to day with the same 30 minute lag time for us each time. Still, in past Celebrations even the hottest print took about two hours to sell through, so we should all be alright. At least I keep telling myself that.

In eleven days, all of our questions will be answered.

Still waiting on the new process for wrist bands too. :impatient:

Anybody been noticing the "Froggy" news concerning photo ops with the guests? Namely Fisher and Hamill. No photos at their autograph tables and only professional "Froggy" pictures with the CV logo on them for some ungodly price.

That being said, if it's not too outrageous, and they have an op with the both of them, I'm game. I'm afraid its going to be more than $200 for just the picture though. Preorders are supposed to have been posted yesterday.
