Hey, I asked first! :lol How many members would you say there will be? Seems like we may only have to wait a short time before the regular line moves. I hope.

Damn vendors buy everything !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The one you need to worry about is Brian's Toys. They pay a slew of people to just wait in lines and buy up exclusives as these shows.

Gentle Giant has actually lead the charge in cracking down on Exhibitors lining up before the shows open.

I'm not so much disappointed with the Art as I am with the amount they'll be selling. I'm seeing that most of the artist are offering only about 250 prints. Seems a bit small for a 4 day con with thousands of people going.

And it true what fury said, by the time us regular folk get there, they will probally be gone cuz of the VIP attendees.

Well, Bam... I gotta disagree with you on both points. Sorry. Ya know I still love ya!

250 prints per artist = a ton of art. There's 35 artists just in artists alley and 7 or 8 more on the floor. So that around 10,500 art prints for the show... NOT including the ACME booth. :panic:

And the prints will not sell out to VIPs Thursday before you get in. Seriously, the only prints there was a mega-scramble to get at CIV was the McQuarrie ones (McQuarrie did two pieces at 125 each rather than one at 250 - so it made them even harder to get).... and the Adam Hughes piece was a quick sell-out too. Maybe half way through day one. McQuarrie is doing one piece this time at 250 (priced at $180 which will slow sales some IMHO) and Adam Hughes isn't attending this time.

I'm sure there will be some quick sellers this year too. But if you get to the art show early on Thursday you should be fine.

Yeah, I think people are getting a bit too paranoid about these prints. They were limited to 250 ea at the last two Celebrations and I never had a problem getting a single print I wanted.

NO! It's over between us! :monkey2

I suppose ur right then.....but its still nerve racking. I just hope that the prints I'm on the hunt for are not the HOT SELLERS!

And.... thought about it.....and ...*sniff*...I guess I still wuv u too. :1-1:

Trust me, 99% of the collectors will go straight to the lines for Hasbro, Gentle Giant or the Celebration Store. If prints are your #1 priority and you have a pass for Thursday the only thing that might prevent you from getting all those that you want will be the cost.

Listen to us old, grisled but whiley veterans. :lol

Is there even a highly limited item at the store this year? I know last time going to the store Thursday afternoon the only thing I couldn't get was the 3rd McQuarrie print. GG was a cluster, but I dont think it will be as bad this year, the only other really bad spot was Star Wars Shop(I think for GG animated boba). I dont think there are as many art collectors and trying to flip art can be really risky as it can be damaged way easier and even selling can be hard, as you well know after having people back out after the show.

Art makes you feel Bam, and maybe mine just makes you feel like vomiting. :lecture

:lol It's gross. :lol

OH NOES! I'm gotta do the Gentle Giant line too! :panic:
