Ok, now don't get me wrong, I think that it is great that Sideshow is making items like this chess table, the Endor Rebel troopers, and Boush Leia. But don't you think these items would be even bigger sellers if they had peices that go along with them? Imagine instead of a Han from ESB SSC would of made the Endor Han with that cool long coat to go along with the troopers, or even an endor Jedi Luke. The figure's done all they would have to add is a helmet and a parka. Or imagine if they made an R2D2 to go along with the chess set. I know chewie is hard to get right, R2 is so much easier. With these characters there would not be as much negativity towards some of the items that they produce. It's like they know we want certain characters but to tide us over they give us other things that leave us scratching our heads wondering where they are coming from. The chess set is grea, but at least include a couple of chairs so a few of the figures could look right with it. :chew

I don't mind them doing this piece. I wouldn't prefer it this early in the line though. I won't be getting this piece because if they make the chess table where does it end? Would you buy the Uncle Owen/Aunt Beru Kitchen environment? Padme's bedroom furniture set? I will get some environments but only ones that are really cool to me like this

I will be very curious as to how well this piece sells. It is just random enough that I think this is a big question mark for some.
For those that want this and think its cool, I am glad they are making it.
$50 is just too much. If this was $25, I would have probably done it. I know the materials being used are high quality, but ouch! :emperor

Not me. I not only jumped off the completist bandwagon with the head-scratching Endor Rebel Troop figures... I catapulted off.
I was pretty much down with ordering this even though I thought that $40 was pushing it. But the revelation of it being $50 is producing yet another shocking dose of reality when it comes to this line.
This item at this price coupled with SSC claiming that a 1/6 Chewie or the Droids are not coming any time soon truly makes me wonder what is in the water there at Thousand Oaks.
