Would having some snot-nosed kid play him be any worse?

Well no and I think it's a foregone conclusion that either that kid or Morrison will play him again at some point (maybe as soon as the Han Solo flick.) But if RO could redeem Vader after his emasculating appearances in ROTJ and the PT then I've got to assume the same *could* happen for Fett, but only if they did him right. Daniel Craig's ST voice was pretty close to Wingreen Fett and he had a decent amount of swagger in the costume. Karl Urban in "Dredd" mode could also make an awesome Fett.

Not that either of those two options are remotely possible but I do think that they could restore him to his ESB glory if they were actually willing to do whatever it takes.

-We have the insane fan-fiction of the EU that won't let him rest in peace.

Well at least the EU doesn't count anymore.

In the new canon Vader hires Fett straight after ANH to track down the boy who destroyed the Death Star. It's reminiscent of the Holiday Special cartoon (for those looking to pick up Hot Toys' HS Fett).

Yeah I read that and Luke ends up fighting Fett blindfolded in Old Ben's hut. Because memba his training on the Falcon??

So if Vader always goes with Fett, what was the whole bounty hunter 6 on the Executor for then? Vader pretending to maybe shop elsewhere?

Doncha kno? Dengar's a real contender for most feared bounty hunter in the galaxy.

Morrison is too old to reprise his role as Boba Fett. If the character is ever used in any capacity, it would probably just be him lending his voice like all the games.

And I highly doubt Disney will bring him back for the sequel trilogy movies. Hopefully he's dead from the events of ROTJ. The Han Solo and or another ****** anthology movie will probably dig him back up though.

That's Morrison? He actually sounds a lot better as he's gotten older. That's some pretty sweet music too. Parts of it remind me of Conan the Barbarian. I've got to pick up that game one of these days.

No way Boba Fett is not in the new Han Solo movie. I'm certain it will establish their long rivalry.

In fact, Han might be on Boba's team of thieves and ends up cheating them all -- much like a page from Star-Lord and the Ravengers... which I'm sure Disney is mining for left-overs.

Yeah it's him. He recorded a ton of **** for different scenarios (hunting Han, going after Leia). Remember, back in 2004 Lucas probably had Morrison redub the voice over a phone or landline or something since it would be cheaper than flying him in to record.

Isn't Boba Fett just another bounty hunter to Han Solo? Well? I guess there's that special edition scene, but that don't count. Greedo and Han seem to have more history than him and Boba.

Greedo Anthology film when?

Well damn, if that's who Disney is sticking with for the voice I'd actually be good with that. It's not a perfect Wingreen match but Morrison finally has that same gravelly snarl, especially when he says "You're not worth a lot to me...alive."

Of course having said all that watch them go all in with Daniel Logan.

I liked that all through ESB no one addressed Fett by name. It was like only Vader knew who he was (though the deleted scene below says otherwise.)

Yeah, I prefer Lando and everyone referring to him as "that bounty hunter" rather than "booba feet". That deleted scene sucks with exposition like that while they're being chased. Probably the first thing that was cut.

That's why I said a while back that I didn't really care about the change anymore. The 13+ years worth of voice over work in different media has desensitized me, especially the more recent video games. It's hard to hate on Morrison as he is taunts Han Solo as you set Solo on fire with your flamethrower.

No. Han says: Boba Fett? With urgency as if that name means something to him right before he hit him with his cane.

After ESB, I remember there being hints that Han and Fett had had run-ins before... certainly if Fett is Jabba's top bounty hunter then Han would at least be familiar with him.
