I can’t believe he would make these unsolicited comments about the mature and tactful SW fanbase.

Please keep things civil, Freaks.

Let me leave this here as a reminder...

Code of Conduct

Trolling, Attacks and FlamingOur first priority is to the members that have come here because of the flame-free atmosphere we provide. There is a zero-tolerance policy here against personal attacks. We will not tolerate anyone insulting other's opinion nor name calling. This includes the companies and individuals that create the collectibles and/or toys being discussed.

  • · Trolling is posting in a way solely designed to provoke a negative response.
  • · Attacks and derogatory terms of any kind are not welcome. This includes references to any collectible or the companies that produce them.
  • · Flames are messages that personally attack or call any people names or otherwise harass. These, along with any generally condescending posts will be edited or removed at the moderators discretion.
  • · If a thread is flame-bait (appears to be intended to start an argument or is likely to cause an argument rather than enhance discussion, as in trolling), it will be locked or removed without notice. Individual flame-bait comments in a post may be deleted or edited at the moderators' discretion.
  • · If the thread turns into an argument, it can be closed to further comment or removed without notice.

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019

I take PT for what it is. If those movies were shot and released in 80s yall would've loved them.

:rotfl

If the Emoji movie were released in the 1880s or the 2080s they would've loved it.:dunno

Jar Jar and rogering droids would've been bad in any decade.

Remember, the two Ewok movies came out in the 1980s, and the Holiday Special in the 1970s.

The PT was the antithesis of why Lucas created Star Wars in the first place. It's a completely different concept, preoccupied with politics and economics rather than a simplistic tale of heroism and good vs. evil.

:exactly:

What's annoying is that so called "adults' can't be civil towards each other.

Doesn't that pretty much describe every single movie and TV series people love around here?:lecture:lol

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019

He's trying to say that if you don't like TLJ you just don't like change. Were geezers stuck in the 80s.

No biggie. I rather be a grandpa who watches old movies where **** actually happens than watching today's blockbusters. Remember that this generation made the Bayformers and the MCU (the most bland and soulless wastes of time to ever grace the face of this Earth) a thing.

With this said, we must remember to respect each other as individuals even when the things our neighbors like are utterly crap. :monkey3
