That looks absolutely disgusting. Who designed this thing? Some Japanese hentai animator?

So I read that you can’t even get into the Galaxy’s Edge park now without a reservation. They won’t even let you enter past the front gate :horror

Not surprising. It's going to be crazy there for a while. I'll give it a year or two before I make an attempt.

3 hour line to get into the Cantina.

This is NOT the summer to go see the new Star Wars land... but all the regular rides at Disneyland should be a lot shorter.

I haven't been to Disneyland in several years and have no interest in going really. My days of dodging long lines of strollers and weaving in and out of fat tourists to get to the next two-hour line are well over. I won't go anywhere near that park unless I can have dinner at Club 33 and retreat for a couple hours. In fact, last year, my wife's sister got one of those concierge services that fast-tracks you via escort though the park and wanted us to go... and I passed.

I prefer the reservation. Got to do everything we wanted to do while in there without fighting thru crazy crowds. Going again before they open up the flood gates. That whole area is gonna be cray once they start letting everyone in.

The Cantina is absolutely the best hangout spot there lol. Only waited 45 mins for the text message after putting in our reservations but you got to do it early. Meanwhile we were enjoying the rest of the park.

That's the one place I really want to see more than anything else. I'm sure the land is amazing, but I know if I go with the regular park crowds I will just be annoyed. My wife really wants to go -- which is ironic since she isn't really into Star Wars -- so I have a feeling I might get pulled into it this summer.

I hope in time I'll hear when the best time to go is -- like very late at night or during a thunderous downpour. :lol

I really do prefer that they kept a reservation time slot like they do now. Nothing at Galaxy's Edge was over 45 min wait for us. The Millennium Falcon ride was a 5 min line because we waited to do that. The Cantina should be your priority the moment you get there because that will take the longest to get in. They weren't rushing people out of there too but you do have a 2 drink Maximum and 4 hours to enjoy the park as you wish. Also if you plan on doing the lightsaber and droid build, do all that before the Falcon ride. Got reservations again to experience it at night :)

That's another thing, I wonder if its better at night or during the day? Two totally different looks.

That's good advice. But I'm certain those time's will become exponential in the coming months as tourist season kicks in.

I also hear they are limiting your stay in the Cantina to 45 minutes beside the two drink minimum. I have a feeling there will be many more time restrictions to come once the real flood starts. You're lucky you got in fast and had a good experience.

I did that when Star Tours first opened. I think I got on that ride twice during the regular day, but went back at 11pm until the park closed at midnight and road it another 4 times because there was absolutely no line.

I seethed with jealousy when Star Tours opened in 1987.

Everyone I knew had already gotten out of SW by that time, so it seemed like it was made just for me. But we were a poor family. We weren't going to Disney World.

I finally got to ride Star Tours.....in 2005. And it was in Japanese. I vaguely recall enjoying it.

At least you got to see the original one before all the PT stuff was added in 2011. I think I caught the original at Disneyland in 1989 or so and was utterly blown away. I had resigned myself to never seeing new SW footage ever again so the experience was truly surreal.

What the heck was that all about?

Kristian Harloff who Hosts Collider Live and Jedi Council ranted about not being invited to Star Wars Galaxy's Edge. Then gets in a heated argument Live on air with his producer.
