Aww jeez, think I’ll try a month or so later, it’s probably going to be jam packed this whole summer

I wonder what the ticket prices are going for

It's regular park admission. Also you're reserved for a certain time slot and have 4-5 hours to enjoy Galaxies Edge within Disneyland.

So I saw on the ad “ If you plan to visit May 31- June 23 ...reservations are needed “

Jeez June 23 ..that’s pretty much the whole month of June :horror

I don't know if this is the effect of Disney Wars, but I really have absolutely no interest in this theme park.
I went three years ago with my kids, and the Star Wars bit was pretty cool and fun. We got pics with the duck-troopers and my son built one of those plastic lightsabers, and it was the highlight of the trip for him.
But now... I don't know, this all sounds terribly un-exciting.

For some people, beards and un-manicured hair make them look homeless or crazy, regardless of age.

Hawaiian shirts too...

Me neither. I'm not a fan of fan service, but I agree the locations should be at least iconic or recognisable. And I've never been a fan of cosplayers.

Anyone who claims that they are not a fan of fan-service but who cheered when Han and Chewie came on screen in the force awakens are hypocrites that don't deserve to be heard, EVER!

That was a great moment, but I wouldn't call it fan service. Fan service to me is stuff that's shoehorned in to appeal to the fans, when the film could easily survive without it (there were about 15 examples in Solo, for instance).

Fan service is seeing Ghost in rogue one during the yavin 4 “hope” speech take off and random intercom callings for special characters, etc.

I always hated how they had sooooo much canon content and resort to the bare minimums

Pretty much Star Wars as a whole is fan service now. There's absolutely nothing new in the galaxy far, far away anymore.

There was alot of new stuff in TLJ.....

And alot of fans hated it for that.

So fan service is what they get....
