I wonder if JJ will end this like he did LOST -- with it all being a dream Rey is having when she suddenly wakes up in the sand wearing that rebel flight helmet at the foot of the fallen walker... some little raider thief trying to pull off her shoe.

That would actually be a very satisfying end to all of this.

In the fact that it negates all that has happened? :lol

Better yet, a young CGI Luke wakes up on Tattooine having dreamed everything, then heads out to the South Ridge to repair the units there. Roll credits...

After credits scene: A Jawa sandcrawler cruises past the habitat on Uncle Owen's moisture farm, never stopping.

No apparently Palps is tied up VERY tightly at the end of TROS - he definitely won't escape again.

You can see Rey and Rose are keeping a close eye on him though. Poe is all arrogance, just smirking at Finn and BB-8.

:lol the most shocking part was that once completely unmasked Palpatine was revealed to be Rey's masculine, uncaring, environmentally unfriendly father.

I can't keep track of all the various alleged "leaked plots" for this thing, but I've read all of them.

I wonder which ones are "confirmed" now that there's more footage.

I seem to recall one about 3PO having the info on the magic mystery device somewhere in his memory banks, but it turns him aggressive, and that seems to line up with what was shown.

3PO pretending that he's sentimental about these nobodies he's interacted with for 30 seconds of screen time was perhaps the most laughable thing for me.

It just reeked of a sitcom from the 80s that had an episode solely devoted to unknown characters that are about to be on a spin-off show.

"Oh look kids, it's our new friend Poochie! What's he up to?"

I can't imagine being an adult and actually caring one way or another about any of these lifeless, soulless characters. I know a lot of you are gonna see this out of a sense of obligation or curiosity, or maybe even an attempt to recapture those feelings from 1983 or even 2005....but I can't imagine many of you actually LIKE or CARE about characters like Rose, Poe, Finn, or even the lamest leading woman in history, the unstoppable Rey.

I know I'm projecting my apathy on to others, but it's something I quite simply can't understand.

I could understand even with Endgame, how well fleshed out those characters were and how real they felt, that people were quite attached to them emotionally. That makes sense to me. This....does not.

Other than the spaceships and blasters and music, there's simply nothing there. I think anyone being honest with themselves would see that, but again...I'm projecting.

I suppose to the desire to snivel and snot on yourself is stronger than the desire to see movies with characters you actually like and care about.

When Palpatine is finally unmasked, it's revealed he was once just a non-binary librarian that fell victim to the patriarchy.:dunno

The more I see of this, the more apparent how badly they're screwing the conclusion of the original trilogy. That F'n no-talent JJ Abrams just keeps getting franchises to destroy.
