Ya, that is a concern of mine. However, I was also nervous when I got the original Return of the Jedi 1 Sheet poster they offered up back when they just about first opened, and to my surprise, not only was it in absolutely mint condition, but the shipping tube, while cardboard, was sturdy as hell, so I have faith that knowing the cost and limited availability of these prints, they'll do top notch to get it out, there'd be too much of a **** storm if the ****ed things up.

I received the "Redemption" poster from them and it was very well shipped and that was just a $20 poster. the tube they ship it in is really hard so it shouldn't get damaged in shipping...although humans are putting it in the tube so that is where it could get damaged i suppose.

Yeah the frame cost 3x more than the print but it was soooo worth it. I absolutely love this

Actually that was after the 50% discount

The frame and glass are wicked expensive because it's such and oddball size. It's fairly large and the frame has to have a certain strength to hold the glass.

The glass is the majority of the price. You can order them for a lot less online but they have acrylic instead of glass.

Hobby Lobby had a 50% off sale.....framed a 24x36 CIV print(thanks Irish!) for $30. Now that didn't have the matte(?) on the inside of the frame bordering the picture but it was a nice frame with glass. i only get the expensive stuff for my Picaso's.

Just pin it to the wall or fold it up for when you can afford a frame...

It worked!

My Vanderstelt arrived yesterday in a very thick cardboard tube with paper inside at each end to keep it from banging around and getting the edges creased. It's quite an impressive piece of art! It is going to live in the tube until I can buy a proper frame though. This also came with a certificate of authenticity - I wasn't expecting that.

I got an AP of Jerry's CIV print for FREE when I bought his Yoda print at CE for 30 pounds!!! One of the BEST deals I got at CE all weekend!!!

More than likely I will take your advice. I spend so much money already that I have to be careful and buy only the things that I really want. I am also afraid of getting sucked deeper into the world of art prints....I just can't afford it. *laughs nervously*

I LOVE that red mat. Adam and I still have to take ours in to be framed...
I'm totally gonna try that color out!
