I thank God and Mark for helping me to get that Seeley print. man It looks amazing in person, cant wait to get it up on my wall.
Get on it 24 x 36 is a standard size frame. You can always go back and put it in a better frame.

Yeah I'll have to do it in august though. No sense in doing it now since I wont be here in my apartment much longer.

I couldn't agree more. That print has to be seen in person to fully appreciate. And as impressive as the 24x36 was, the canvas version just blew me away. Man, I wish I had $500 (or whatever it was) to pick it up. And I'm not even a EU fan.

Mark, those look great. I have Adam's Leia coming and I'm hoping to get a few more.

You guys are going to bankrupt me :monkey3

Awesome pictures guys - thanks for sharing those. As impressive as the art is on its own, it looks so much better framed.

By the way, if anyone has any info or leads on where to acquire an Adam Hughes Leia print from C4 (besides ebay), please let me know. I'm bummed that I didn't make arrangements to try and pick one up, but I didn't pay much attention to the artwork until people started posting pics after C4 was over.

Adam's Dave Dormans and Malcom Tweens will be the hardest to find since they all sold out and all sold out pretty early.

I don't think Tween sold out that early. I'm pretty sure he had some on Monday, the last day of the show. In fact, I was actually surprised to hear that he sold out (not that his print isn't great... I have one) and Jason Palmer didn't (his line was always 6-8 people long).

When I walked by on Mon morning it was sold out and he was gone. That was maybe a lil over an hour in. I was lil shocked too. I think Jason sold a lot of the books every time I was there he was signing the books but hardly any of the people had prints. Dave was pretty much sold out on Fri , he actually kinda oversold a few poeple didnt get the preorders.

Yeah, I know... my friend was one of them.
Hey I helped out a lil i canceled one of mine. I was shocked they talked about on Thur they needed to pull pre-orders then on Fri when I went back by to get mine they were saying the may not have enough.

They were definitely a bit unorganized. Super nice guys! But unorganized nice guys!

But Dave's remarque of kneeling Vader on mine rulz! :rock :rock :rock :rock :rock

Swabie, were you the (other) guy who was buying lots of stuff at the McQuarrie booth on Thursday AM just before the Hall opened up? I recall someone in line just before me dropping a ton of $$$ and getting their prints pre-framed. I have a feeling you were one of the people there and we ran into each other without even knowing. :monkey1 And I also remember one of the guys at the booth commenting after I made my purchase that if the pace we set was any indication they would be sold out of EVERYTHING by 2 PM the first day. :lol

Ah! Were you the guy looking for one of the signed Boba Fett prints?

(I was the guy bummed because I couldn't find a signed "Droids In The Desert".)

Could be I was helping him look but I cant remember since I think we were at the booth like 3 times before they opened.:lol

Yeah... that guy who bought all the stuff was BlueSnags! He's a pal of mine and mfoga's. He scored a mother-load of stuff.

I got hosed on Thursday. I went directly to the booth. I was in line and the girl was counting off sets of prints. I was the second to last to score a set (woo-hoo, right?) Wrong! Cuz the jerk ahead of me in line says to the girl... uhm... actually my kids each want a set too. Well his kids were about 3 years old each and had no idea where they even were - never mind what they were buying. She agreed to sell the kids each a set... so me and the guy behind me got hosed. Then as I walk away I hear someone say... "See ya on ebay, pal!" Friggin' BS!!!!!!!!!!!

No matter. I scored them all the next day thanks to a bit o' help from my pal mfoga!!!!!! Woot! Me, mfoga and BlueSnags had each others backs during C4 (and mfoga had nash's back too). We all got a ton of stuff and helped each other out. Mfoga helped me score the McQuarrie prints, he helped BlueSnags score a medllaion or two, I helped him score a few prints. Collecting always seems better when you do it with pals!

Lots of good times. Group hug! :grouphug :grouphug :grouphug :grouphug

I think if you watch SWS you got a good shot at all of those except Dormans and Adams. The other three should be on SWS at some point or the artist may sell them direct if they bought them back. As we have said before watch over at GGC since almost every artist posts there.

It's a good thing you guys had each others backs there - that story of what happened to swabbie sucks. People like that are jerks man. Come on, who needs that many limited prints? Seriously, there are too many hoarders out there. What good is having multiples of the same print? Bah. At least things worked out though.

Yeah, it figures that the print I would be interested in is one of the few not easily found. I've got to pay more attention next time.
