Don't forget Mike, she's mine :emperor

Eh. That just means she'll be on sale in a couple of months for me to buy.

As for the XBOX vs. PS3 debate, on the few games I've played on both systems, I've noticed a difference, not extreme but a difference exists. I have all three and would always choose the PS3 version over the other two, although I plan to get the Wii version because of the Lightsaber attachments and Nunchuk play. I will get the PS3 version at launch and the Wii one eventually of course.

I wish I had either a 360 or PS3 so I could get on a new gen system but I guess a PS2 version will have to suffice for the moment. I sure hope Sideshow or Medicom tries to tackel a VSA figure down the line.

Okay, time for me to preorder this game now. But don't know if I should get it for my PS3 or Wii?

I'm having the same internal debate. The PS3 will look purdy, but the Wii will probably be more fun. The bonus multiplayer fighting game for the Wii is a big bonus as well.

I'm gonna wait until the reviews are in, and then make a decision.

I just preordered it for my PS3 yesterday. I may also wait and see the reviews of both before picking it up. The Wii version is just $10 cheaper.

Please tell me that my theory is NOT correct and that
Vader does not help create the Rebellion as part of plans to ultimately dethrone Palpatine
.

Yes, that would be uber-lame. But after the prequels and the latest CLONE WARS something like that actually wouldn't surprise me at all.

Little bit of a dumb question here. I'm looking at prices of PS3's and I notice that there are different one's based on the size of the hardrive. What is the purpose of the size of the hard drive? Do the games work better or look better on the higher ones?

My PS3 is the 40gb version. I think there are some HD supports on like the 80gb but I was able to do this and set things up on mine just fine.

uhhh the hardrive is how much content you can save on the console (movies, demos, saved games and such if you can do that on PS3)...the xbox is the same way..which i am an own of cause i hate PS but no need to go into that haha:rotfl..i dont think it really effects the game any.

Did you say 'lightsaber attachment'? That would be my personal deciding point right there.

Ah, thanks, I don't think I'll need to save anything on the system so I might as well get the lower one for less.

You may want to "install" some games to get faster loading times (when available). Yoda and LIVE aside, this is one plus the PS3 has over the 360 in Soul Calibur. This can take up a good amount of space as you accumulate games.

The good news is, you can alway buy a bigger hard drive for your PS3 down the road. The better news is that any 2.5-inch SATA HD will do. No proprietary garbage here. :rock

Honestly, in this day and age, game reviews are getting to be just awful.

I'll take demo's and my own personal experience over "professional" reviewers, since there seems to be nothing professional about it.

It's basically, form opinion in 15 minutes, continue to tell yourself this opinion is true, give the score you always planned on giving the game in the first place.

no doubt about it. and i'm still buying it on release. i enjoyed all the Jedi games and they weren't perfect so I know I'll have a fun time with this one.

What exactly did they say was wrong with it?

really the only thing they mention is the boss battles where you
drain it's energy and then you have to mash a button sequence

not sure that info is a spoiler since i only mention the battle type, not any story info, etc.

they also mention they weren't as "engaged" with the story during the game but the story itself was good and it felt "vidiogame-y" instead of an engrossing SW's tale like the other Jedi games. they don't say anything bad about the gameplay, which is all I need to know I'll enjoy it.
