I like it especially being able to throw Stormtroopers around like rag dolls when does this come out?

Really short demo, it's just that one TIE fighter factory thing, it ends after you defeat the AT-ST. I'm really impressed with the graphics and gameplay though. The controls make sense.

I can't even begin to download NHL or TW right now. I hope it's just a bunch of people trying to do it all at once that's causing this. Of course I could never get the Madden demo past 64% so who the ^^^^ knows.

Looks like I'll be trying Sunday when I get home.

Just played the demo on Xbox 360.

Eh. It's pretty fun to run around and Force-Push and toss stuff (and people), but so far I'm not thinking it's worth all of the hype (and especially the delays).

The timed-button-mashing to defeat the bosses is pure crap, too. Very, very weird game design decision that seems like it should be part of a different game.

The controls are pretty tight, though... especially once you get used to them.

Based solely on the demo, 7.0 out of 10, but only for the fun and Force factor.

Damn this demo keeps locking up my Xbox 360.... since nobody else seems to have this issue, im hoping my xbox is not beginnning show signs of RROD.

Wow, you don't like something SW related. There's a shock.

Any unbiased opinions out there since mine won't load more than 53%.

Why would you not like the timed buttons? So many good games have utilized this, and innovated it... Like God of War, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, etc. It's fantastic.

You should not have Jedi associated with your name since you pretty much hate on all things Star Wars :lol

Almost as shocking as you having an unnecessarily catty remark to one of my posts.

Where did I say that I hate it? And why is 7 out of 10 so bad? :huh You guys are freakin' weanies, man. :lol

Like an ex-smoker who's miltantly against cigarettes, maybe I'm just a retired Lucas Apologist™. :lol

In all seriousness, it's pretty damn funny to be on the other end of the "biased" typecast. I used to be the guy who everyone thought loved all things SW blindly (well, except for the EU... I always despised most of that).

Anyway I'm still getting the game and will give it a fair chance, but I was honestly and genuinely NOT blown away by the demo. At the very least, it will be a fun game to play, though. But I'm thinking this will be no KOTOR.

I don't have a problem with timed buttons. One of my favorite games of all time (RE4) used it with genius. It just feels completely out-of-place in this game and counter-intuitive to the rest of the gameplay.

This is something that has really been getting on my nerves lately. I wish reviewers would do away with the numerical score and be done with it. In my mind, on a scale of 1 to 10, 5 would be average. For some reason the mindset of the typical gamer crowd has been making eight the average and anything below pure "teh suck."

I don't get it. :dunno

I think it has to do with grades. I don't know about other people but from high school to college a 70 was a C. And a C was average so a 7 out of 10 becomes a C grade. I personally see a 7 and 8 as a solid score qith 9 and 10 reserved for things that are above and beyond.

I try not to go by numerical reviews unless they are consistant across the boards. Alone in the Dark got some really ^^^^ty reviews but some gave it a not bad score. I have waited for the demo and just tried it. While I wouldn't pay $60 for it I will buy it when it goes on sale.

Are you STILL stuck on 52%?? That's weird. I can understand the frustration. It took maybe 20 mins to download it earlier.

Tried 5 times this morning, actually made it to 53% and then it stalled again. Tried to download NHL and Tiger Woods and it wouldn't even start those. I have no idea what was going on. I haven't been able to download a demo in a long time (couldn't do Madden or MLB either).

^^^^ing frustrating :emperor
