Question....would this game be so "awesome" if it was not Star Wars based? I ask seriously. From what I have seen it looks ok, but like a lot of repetitive mauling of stuff.

I don't know. Honestly, I don't care either. Its a SW based game and using whats in it is fun. The rest is not worth thinking over.

i agree this game is fun but it has no replay value, why waste 65.00 doll hairs when you could just rent it or buy it cheaper on evilbay a couple months later.

I just finished the game for the Second time !!! Took me like 11 hours.
I think it's pretty good game. Battle VS Darth Maul was my favorite part
(with that "Dual of the Fates" Battle Scene theme music :maul)

...sorry, I was distracted by your signature

I finished it a couple days ago and liked it enough that I'm hoping for a sequel, which is almost inevitable when it comes to SW games, or things produced by LucasArts...or Lucas.

Am I the only one who loves Proxy, your droid pal who is your close and loyal companion? He's programmed to kill you and takes every available chance; the great thing is that he seems blissfully unaware that his success may hurt the friendship. :lol I hope one day to have my own "Proxy" equivalent. Keep things interesting for me as I advance in years.

I'm really enjoying the cinematic quality of all of the boss fights. It's truly something on the level with the best fights we've seen in the SW comics and movies. Even the fight in the very beginning with General Rahm Kota.
I loved the fact that Kota tore the room from the space station, hurling both of you inexorably toward the planet surface. Watching the planet approach through the glass floor which gradually grew hotter and hotter was a very nice touch.

Anybody play Turok for 360 or PS3? It reminds me of that in many of the ways the fights are handled, how if you approach the enemy a certain way or lower their health enough, you can perform a combo that's like seeing a movie in itself. One of my thoughts was that it seemed a bit too easy to kill Rancors... until I actually thought about it. It makes sense for someone with that array of force capabilities to struggle with, but then kill, a Rancor. Stopped last night when starting to fight a poaching Imperial commander on Kashyyyk. Good times thus far. :D

Took a game back I bought earlier and decided to pick this up. It is ok. The first boss battle when you are Vader kinda sucks. The camera was horrible. The gameplay is ok. Nothing special. The cut scenes are good and the overall look is nice. Pretty much a hack and slash game. I certainly don't think it is as great as people are saying but my standards are high.

This game is boring and not worth it. It is a hack and slash, nothing special......they should have taken the Jedi Knight formula and just utilized that, those were great games. Also this game gives me a headache, to many bright colors and fast moving camera. Well I didn't buy it anyways so I am happy :).

A new Jedi knight would be awesome. I also really liked Shadows of the Empire for the old 64 and the Rogue games on the Cube.

Yeah a new Jedi Knight game would be awesome. And Shadows of the Empire, I played that game a lot, it is up there as either the best or one of the best SW games yet.

I agree. I think people either forget about that game or never played it. That game was insane back in the day. I loved every minute.

Are you saying my standards aren't? :rolleyes:The game is as fun as I'm saying or I should say its that fun to me which is all I give a rats ass about. If its nothing special to you fine by me but please don't just assume your standards are higher than mine. That kind of ^^^^ really pisses me off.

Don't think Bad ment it like that, Josh. I think there is going to be mixed feelings about this game no matter how you look at it.

Finished it today... This game rocks! Oh I got some I got high standards also ;-)
Gonna try and complete on Sith Master now.

I also agree that another Jedi Knight game is needed. And that Kotor MMORPG cannot get here fast enough.
