Are you saying my standards aren't? :rolleyes:The game is as fun as I'm saying or I should say its that fun to me which is all I give a rats ass about. If its nothing special to you fine by me but please don't just assume your standards are higher than mine. That kind of ^^^^ really pisses me off.

I know for a fact my standards are higher than yours. what's wrong with having low standards?

Love this game !!!!! I beat it for the 2nd times now and I still could not fill all the force upgrades. Maybe they will fill up after beating it for the third time... :monkey1
This game is highly recommended !!!! :chew

it released yesterday in europe and i`m glad that i had some money to buy it!!!( for ps3) i like it very much so far...the cinematics are very good..and the gameplay it reminds me a little bit from god of war ... but in overall i don`t think that this game worth the whole waiting and the cancellations to the release date.ok it`s star wars, it`s good but something inside me screams that lucas arts can make better than this !!!! is there anyone who hopes like me to see that game transfered to cinema? like a new star wars movie from Lucas ??? i find it a good idea since so many video games become movies...+ its the apprentices story..Just asking...

So are you able to keep all your force upgrades on the next play through or do you have to start a new game from fresh?

Took a game back I bought earlier and decided to pick this up. It is ok. The first boss battle when you are Vader kinda sucks. The camera was horrible. The gameplay is ok. Nothing special. The cut scenes are good and the overall look is nice. Pretty much a hack and slash game. I certainly don't think it is as great as people are saying but my standards are high.

That review seems to be along my line of thought w/o playing it yet. A repetitive "hack and slash" type game. Not that it's not fun or a decent game, but not something I'll pay $60 for. This game will get traded in in droves in a few months time ( due to no multiplayer ) and once the used ones are down to $30 I'll pick it up.

I am not even going to reply. :dunno

I traded mine in for store credit the day after it came out (I did finish the game, though). Replay value is pretty much non-existant without MP. And it's telling that the most fun level to play is the first one (as Vader).

That said, I actually bought and downloaded the iPhone version of the game ($9.99). I gotta admit, in its proper perspective the iPhone game is actually more impressive.

Don't think Bad ment it like that, Josh. I think there is going to be mixed feelings about this game no matter how you look at it.

Thats totally true. I don't expect everyone to like it but I also don't appreciate someone saying because I said its as fun as it is that my standards are low.

You just did.

I don't think anyone's standards are low (or at least I'm not in a position to know that)... but I do strongly believe that if this wasn't a STAR WARS game most of the folks lauding it wouldn't even be giving it much thought. There's really nothing that special about it. Even the much-hyped triple physics engine failed to set the world on fire. And don't even get me started on the storyline that would be laughed apart if it were an EU novel instead of a highly-anticipated game.

I'm waiting for the next KOTOR game, when the SW name and logo actually means something.

I like hack and slash games for what thats worth. I'd love to see other SW games like this involving Darth Maul or the entire Saga. I'm having that good a time with it. The physics engine has been pretty good I think and the story line seems alright as well.

I like it and am enjoying it as I said so I've got no real complaints.

:lecture I completely agree. I know some people thought the Simpsons Wrestling game was great just because it had Simpsons characters in it. I've found the various poor reviews of TFU to be accurate, that it's fairly disappointing all around. Without the SW window dressing this game wouldn't sell.

So are you able to keep all your force upgrades on the next play through or do you have to start a new game from fresh?

You can keep upgrade your skills 2nd and 3rd time around. It'll be my 3rd time
beating it and I still have a lot more force power to upgrade... :sick

I read the graphic novel, since I get all the SW comics, and the story seemed a bit all over the place. The only system I've got is the PS2, so I might pick it up for that. But I only drop coin on games where I can use cheat codes. :D So I found a bunch for any of you who are lazy like me and just want to start the game strong and mindlessly tear through everything.

Cheat mode
Successfully complete the first mission. Pause the game, and select the "Input Code" option. Then, enter one of the following codes to activate the corresponding cheat function. Alternately, successfully complete the first mission. After gaining access to the Rogue Shadow, you will have the ability enable cheat codes. While on board your ship between missions, select "Extras", then the "Enter Code" option. Enter one of the following codes to activate the corresponding cheat function. Note: Enabling a costume code may prevent some intermissions sequences from being viewed. The game cannot be saved when non-costume codes are enabled. To bypass this, reach an auto-save point (not shown on screen) after enabling the code(s), then intentionally die, exit to the main menu, and select "Continue". You can now manually save your game with the code(s) still in effect.

Just starting to play today. Will go through sans cheats the first time but thanks for posting them.

Let me say this. The Clone Wars cartoon looks promising but the fact that TFU has the theme and the scroll makes it more Star Wars to me than the theatrical release of CW. :D

Just finished it. Had a blast. I'll try those cheats out after I finish playing it and getting all the achievements since it could null and void getting any of them.
