ok. i just picked up a PS3 to play MGS 4. However i do have a 360. My question is, should i pick up the PS version of force unleashed or the 360 one?

thanks in advance,
James.

I have a 360 and PS3 and i got the PS3 one cos I wanted more
games for my PS3. And wouldnt the graphics be better?
Since PS3 has all of this HD gaming and what not.

that was what i was thinking too. But not sure if the blu-ray disc is being employed fully.

Well i dont have a HD TV, but the graphics are still top notch.
And as a big Star Wars fan, I really enjoyed playing this game.
It has a great story, excellent graphics and great missions
(they do get repetetive though).
it really depends what you like.

The Blu-ray disc has nothing to do with the quality and playability of The Force Unleashed. Both versions are identical with one exception. According to a review on IGN.com...

"The Xbox 360 version has bits of screen tearing and framerate stuttering."

You're practically getting the same game no matter if you're buying for PS3 or 360.

And easports08, what do you mean when you said "Since PS3 has all of this HD gaming and what not"? Both the 360 and PS3 are capable of HD gaming (obviously).

Yeah both are practically the same, most companies just develop for the 360 then put it onto the PS3 afterwards. There's hardly ever a game release on both systems that looks different on one or the other.

I will sell you mine for $50 shipped. Played it for about 30 minutes.

How can you play it for 30 mins and know if its as bad as you want to make others believe? :rotfl

Rent it. It's fun for a couple of days max.

Really? I've been playing it pretty much none stop for the last week. Last I checked 7 days was more than a couple which equals 2.

Haven't bought this yet....But would everyone here agree that it is worth the $$$ ...or just rent it?

Buy it! I've been playing it pretty much none stop for the last week. Its a game I can see myself messing with for quite a while just because you can beat the snot out of stuff using the force. :emperor

I have to admit, this game is a lot of fun. But it is also frustrating at times.

What the ^^^^ is with the troopers and the force proof bubble? I mean give me a ^^^^ing break.

But this game is fun and still challenging. Looking forward to playing through again in the next couple of weeks. I hope to beat it tonight, I can't imagine I've got too much more to go since I've gotten in a good 10-11 hours already.

That and stuff like the boss battles (and things like bringing down the star destroyer, which should never be that boring and laborious) are also my gripes as far as gameplay.

The force bubble guys hacked me off a bit too. I'm thinking man they didn't continue to use this during the rebellion. :lol

There are little things that irked me but overall it was a pretty good game and I'm enjoying going back through as much as I did the first time.

I agree, i bought this a few days ago and cannot stop playing. Im playing on the hardest setting which is a pain in the *** on boss fights. I still like it though and using the force to wreak havoc is fun.....

have you ever been force crushed, pushed, or choked by a Jedi or Sith? maybe you have your own force proof bubble my friend. maybe.

I'm talking about Stormtroopers with the bubbles, not a Jedi or Sith that has a special ability ^^^^ hole.
