I can believe it. Did you guys see this?

:slap

WTF was that? You actually named characters Snowflake and Safespace? HAHAHA! Why don't they just resolve their differences in words? LOL! It was worth it just reading the YouTube comments section alone. Who actually buys comics like that? That's why I have barely touched Marvel comics for the last 7 years.

Who actually buys comics like that?

Nobody does, which is why comics shops are closing down permanently and the industry is about to collapse.

Marvel, DC and Disney are more concerned with releasing dreck like this and giving the middle finger to supposed "bigots" rather than making compelling stories and maintaining a business. It's kinda sad.

I used to be all about this social justice stuff when I was younger and more impressionable, but then I grew up and realized how ridiculous and hypocritical it all was. I don't understand how they don't realize it as well.

Oh look, yet again more ****.

How much you want to bet every white guy dies in this series too?

When was the last great story from Marvel and DC?

Last great Marvel comic I read was Thor The God Butcher/Godbomb. But I am a bit behind in the Marvel world. Just finished up Infinity last night and it wasn't anything special. 2/5 for me. Most of the newer Marvel stuff I don't like because they either went far too overboard and replacing/retconning all the classic characters or you have to keep up with every little thing, there are no more self contained stories it seems.

But the stories that are self contained, like that Thor story or Bendis Daredevil or the Ultimate Spider Man runs or Punisher, etc... tend to be some of my favorites.

As far as DC goes... King's Batman run was a flop to me. But they seemingly are more self contained stories. Aquaman has been pretty good for years now. Batman Last Night and White Knight stories were great. Whole New 52 Batman run was great. Tynion Detective Comics run and FINALLY giving Tim Drake a main role again was really fun to read.

When was the last great story from Marvel and DC?

Uh... Morrison's Green Lantern has been good. Nothing groundbreaking, just comfy space adventures. Apart from that... I struggle to remember anything, really. They all range from "okay, I guess" to "absolutely dreadful". I liked the Darth Vader books, but whatever else I've bought the last 5 years or so, I regret. There are some good indies here and there though.

Wow they really are grooming this androgynous chick to be played by Brie Larson aren't they.

And then there's non-binary (They/Them) Snoflayk Spacesaver:

More I look, the more I am so confused by that damn hair. Just why! Why are you setting a story to be thousands of years before the main saga and you choose a current hair style for some punk rock LGBT feminist expressionist whatever look they are going for? It just makes no sense at all.

This look is even in The Clone Wars! Just why! Why are your bringing this stupid **** from earth into a galaxy far far away?

It's cheap to do and something a *current* pre-teen can relate to; u don't hafta pay a top concept artist who will produce multiple designs. Ur comment made me look at my MCU Hot Toys and some others, and tho Marvel character's looks have evolved over time, come to think of it think these will have longevity. Cap may look dated in 40 years from current design, but even then it the look will suit him. Doctor Strange will look mystic 40 years from now. And so on.

If u are talking "human" characters anyway. Looking at the art books - innovative character design is hard work. Tho IMO not much excuse for SW - been watching Clone Wars and just staggered by the number environments they came up with.

These just look like cheap quick design work - everyone's too humanish, too modern, like they are doing a quicky cosplay. They're also boring. Why aren't there more aliens?

MCU Gamora (and GotG) are pretty ****. THIS is Gamora:

And THIS is Star Lord:

I would've bought those two in a heartbeat. I still wouldn't have bought the rest of the team, but I would've gotten those two.

Reason why I never liked the mcu gotg. They felt like they were trying to cater to the 80s is so cool crowd and not just be themselves.

I bet the handsome white male Jedi is gonna turn out to be the bad guy.

Also, the Game of Thrones influence (characters belong to Houses!) is pathetic. SW never needed to be anything other than SW.

I can't wait for the huge influx of female Star Wars fans all of this will bring to our forum.........that's gonna happen right?

?will be a female-centric series that takes place in a different part of the ?Star Wars? timeline than other projects.?

And for that reason...

This will be like some obscure women's collegiate sport, it exists because it must to be "fair" but will be entirely funded by another program within the company. And like the obscure sport, only parents of the actual participants will watch this.

What the hell ever happened to simply making show's for All Star Wars fans, male/female and adult/child.

I've never read of a female SW fan/fans getting upset that all these SW movies/tv shows have too many damn men in them!!!

WTF with "centric" focused shows. Men like female characters, just like women like male characters. Don't know a male SW fan that doesn't like Princess Leia, nor a female SW fan that doesn't like Han Solo. Most fans love Ahsoka in The Clone Wars & Rebels. And Sabine & Hera were liked in Rebels. An Ahsoka D+ show would be very well received. By ALL fans.

Look what happened to the fandom over Rey Mary Sue in the ST. I liked her in TFA, then ****ing hated her after TLJ. Still refuse to see TROS. And I liked Jyn in RO. She wasn't forced female superiority.

Next up, a SW LGBTQ centric focused show.... featuring/staring a previously known SW character, that is now Gay/Lesbian/other...

FO Disney... :rotfl

-J.J. Abrams is a man with lots of experience making action movies and Sci-Fi, look how that turned out
-You might not have heard of women complaining about too many men in the movies, but you certainly hear men complaining about too many women in the movies
