Well, this looks like some Harry Potter garbage. But I also can't sit through these mewling infants bawling about "woke this" and "sjw that" either, so it's a wash at this point.
I fully expected the title HIGH REPUBLIC to get graffiti'd with "School" in-between.
A story told through coloring books and expensive comics.
And then there was this....

Star Wars Gremlins.
I guess the upside is, the more crap Disney spews out, the better the chance something will be good.
Out of the 12+ series and movies and things they have coming, I'm guessing 2 will be good. One good and the other not bad actually.
I would argue that success is directly dependent on Jon Favreau as an overseer. He seems to be the only person on the planet who has the know-how to do everything/navigate the business and also understands Star Wars and what it should look like.
There is also Rogue One. And Solo, sort of. So it is possible to make pretty good Star Wars without Favreau.
My days of lavishing trust on a single innovator are way over. I've been around too long to see them all fail. Favreau will too.
Agreed on Solo. But I really like Rogue One. Nothing near the same as the OT cast of do-gooders... and yes that final 40 minutes pretty much floats the entire film, but I've come to really enjoy a lot of the adventures and sights and sounds of the non-finale sections too. I wish Krennic was a better villain instead of just having a great outfit.

Hmmm I felt Krennic was a really good character. That sharp yet kinda annoying agressive guy that's high ranking in the company yet still below the wrong guy who just steals his work and passes it off as his own. I bet there are a couple people like that at Apple who just hated Steve Jobs.
Yeah, Disney has some odd Masters.
At least we haven't seen a musical "Star Wars Drag Race"... yet.
