Kind of funny looking but it’s always pretty big.. you can kind of hide it with the robes.

But HT should fix that, its obscenely big!!!

I wish Hot Toys put a lot more effort into this release, similar to the Ahsoka line, but I'm happy enough with the damaged helmet.

I bought an extra parted out HT ANH cod piece for this guy. One of the reasons I didn't like the RO Vader figure. No way I could pass up on this awesome battle damaged look (even though I never watched and never will watch Obi-Wan).

The first thing I will do when this guy is opened and in hand is remove that ridiculous diaper and swap it with the ANH one.

Funny how the best OT Vader mask from HT will be this one. Best 1:6 option for OT Vader is probably mask from this one with helmet from either new rotj release or the old kaiyodo helmet.

It is RO so yes, it will be the best helmet. HT is lazy due to lack of competition.

It's not the RO helmet. The RO helmet has a pointed middle brow part similar to the ANH helmet, but this one is more curved like the ROTJ and ESB helmets are.

New mask also got both tusks looking new, the RO mask has one tusk looking damaged to mesh with the look in episode IV.

Is it me or did Hot Toys update the cape? The collar looks to have a smaller chain in this photo and drapes over his shoulder/chest pads. It appears more accurate to the show than what was shown in the solicitation photos.

i almost wonder if someone will make a 3d printed replacement. This ruins the whole figure tbh.

Thats the Giant's diaper from the RO release. It's really just Hot Toys reusing their old inaccurate parts because they couldn't care less.

Already taken care of for me....

I bought a parted out HT ANH Codpiece for cheap to replace his diaper the minute it went up and I placed my PO. One of the reasons I don't like the HT RO version of Vader, yet so many love it. That will be the first thing I do when I open him up, is change his diaper.

Yeah I been saying that cod piece is aweful since release, its models after the RO one, but its even bigger and way out of scale with the actual one....and it only needs to be a liitle out of scale to looks ridiculous.

And there's that Kenobi 501st with his dustpan groin-guard, too. HT, do better. Have even one-tenth of a thought about ergonomics, please....? Those zombie Stormies have more comfortable looking armor than these guys.

If he’s about to be released then this was likely a final product sample on display at Sideshow’s Hot Toys event on Wednesday.
