Hey agen_kolar, time to do a little careful repair job on the player :computer.
If that doesn't work, maybe this will help until you get another blu-ray player :lsvader

Just watched ROTJ, pretty patchy picture quality wise. Some shots look great others muddy and badly exposed. Hard to tell what's a neg issue and what's a source image problem. I liked the blinking Ewoks, I hated the Vader "noo" and didn't care about the door. I think there were a couple of other changes as well. R2 outside the bunker when gets fryed, looked different to me. Hard to tell.

So out of the original trilogy:
New Hope: impressed, except for the dated CG additions.
Empire: colour timing was an obvious problem, looked garish at times.
Jedi: mixed bag.

These need to be remastered or something. There are still matte boxes in some of the space battles!
Or maybe that's a good thing?

Jesus freakin' Christ. My old Memorex blu-ray player won't play the discs.

Memorex?? Don't they make betamax players? :rotfl

Was pleasantly surprised to come home from study group to find my set from DVD Planet in the box. Oh yeah. Popped in TPM to watch the first ten minutes and yes, it does look fantastic. Stoked.

I love Star Wars. Regardless of all the BS we have to endure.

Gonna view the whole TPM tonight and find time through the next week or so to make my way through all six, but definitely in order...

That is all. Resume _____ing... :lol

You don't start with TPM. :cuckoo:

Did you not attend math class fool? I don't have any children, but if I did of course I would show them IV-VI first, but as George's crow flies, the numbers go like this...

I-VI :lol Silly! What a piece of crap! :D

Watching TPM now. It looks and sounds great.

:exactly: I just finished TPM. I am watching the extended discs. So far , so good.

I would have to agree with you two blokes.

The 6.1 DTS-MA kicks ass and because I haven't seen this movie in 6 years, it looks good.

I heard ROTS looks amazing though.

The Phantom Menace is the best film of the Prequel Trilogy.

True story.
