One thing that struck me while watching ROTS again immediately after AOTC is that it really doesn't play as if all those episodes from the current CW show happened in between. You really get the sense that this is the first time Anakin and Obi-Wan are seeing Dooku since Geonosis.

I remember that the original Tartofsky CW series seemed to fit in just fine but not so much with the new one.

Exactly. The new series just doesn't work in this context. It doesn't at all.

I sent out everyone's disks with the afternoon mail today. :goodpost:

With the saga box set. The bonus deleted scenes. Did they include the scene with Luke and Biggs on Tatooine? Luke talks about the space battle he saw through his binoculars.

What doesn't appear to be there are any of the deleted scenes they included on the Episode I DVD set. So much for owning "every moment." Or are they just assuming you already own the Episode I DVD with those deleted scenes and the Episode I documentary and therefore didn't feel the need to include them on this blu-ray release?

Also, I seem to recall there was a deleted scene from ESB that takes place on Bespin between Han & Leia which does not appear to be included on this set, either.

Gee, I wonder why. :lol

I got my set today. The set looks nicer than I expected (the box, mind you. I haven't watched the any of the discs inside yet). Also the Target lithographs are a real nice touch.

Video? Where is Devil so he can shop you in front of a funeral pyre! That is awesome in a way. Fight the powa! :lol

Yeah, I took video clips with the iPhone as well. Trying to figure out if I'm gonna upload em, and where (my FB page? YouTube?). I really just did it for myself. Like I said.... catharsis. And, honestly, it worked. I'm not torqued anymore and the taint of the darkside is no longer calling to me. :p

I was thinking of having some more fun with it... editing the clips together with the music from the Funeral Pyre scene in ROTJ. But I figure that'd be too much. :lol Just wanted to post one of the pics on here for the doubting Thomases. :nana: Who's idea was it for me to do this anyway? Was it DiFabio? I can't remember, and it's surely buried in the thread.

(Gotta run... need to see if melted BDs are still watchable. ;) :lol )

Actually, Khev, I will be the marked man after this...

Today, catharsis was achieved.

YES! :hi5::dance:yess:

Oh and for good measure...

Also get the sense that it is the first time they actually encounter Grievous.

Meesa Meesa gonna get pasty too, thats-a whasa meesa thinks :panic:

I know you had to look up catharsis. :lol

I could just be a paranoid SW nut but to me the scratches and film grain in that scene looked fake. It's always looked fake since the old Behind the Magic CD-ROM. Hmm...

Well the B&W footage is from the dailies and the color footage is from the processed film. Sometimes things don't make it that far but since the scene we saw even had effects in them then they made it pretty far down the line.

And Irish, I still don't believe the discs are in there.
