In my opinion, Disney is being incredibly arrogant to expect us all to just forget what we've lived with for so many years. You can't throw out canon - do they not know the meaning of the word? Anyway, I would have liked to see them stick with the ACTUAL canon and maybe do films based on Dark Empire or Shadows of the Empire. The new Mandalorian TV show looks like it might be cool, but we'll see what pans out. After the train wreck that was Force Awakens, I didn't see Last Jedi nor will I bother with Rise of the Skywalkers. BTW, wasn't that what Return of the Jedi represented?
