I don't mind spoilers, never did :lecture

I probably won't see it opening week anyway

Same here. Not important for me if knowing the plot already.
But spoiler tags should be obligatory for the people who want to keep the surprise for the moment they are watching the movie. On RPF there is a totally separate thread for TFA spoilers and a couple members got warnings for posting spoilers in the regular TFA thread.

I'm not afraid of spoilers really, I'm afraid of reviews. I don't need the internet telling me it's good or bad, want to go in with my own expectations. I'll learn fan reactions eventually. ( or give in and read all the reviews wed 12am lol)

Agreed. I usually read reviews of the movies I didn't watch, to know if they worth that hour and a half or not. But many times the reviews are not reflecting the reality, some are way too biased.

Well, just keep in mind that in the past on this board having SPOILER and SPOILER FREE threads hasn't stopped attention whores from posting images in the non-spoiler threads. So tread lightly if you're trying to keep your cherry intact this week.

In fact, it might actually be time for me to peace out until Thursday night, post movie. Fool me once, shame on you....

I want to see some damn reviews already, and see people drink the kool aid or hate this thing. The embargo doesn't end until Thursday, I think. Even the theater workers won't be getting an early screening, which is a bit over the top... :dunno

We got to see Revenge of the Sith a week and half before it came out in 2005. Friends and family screening held by the theater owner. I remember getting the teaser poster where Anakin's cloak was Vader's image and the manager coming out and warning everyone that the sound system was cranked up as par Lucasfilm's instructions or something. It was cool. Tons of people had their FX lightsabers there.

OMG, is that you in the flesh?! I want to hear what you sound like.

D,

you've seen me before, I just posted a pic of me a few weeks ago wearing that same shirt! :lol

If I can I'll try to see it twice the same day.

I intentionally want to wait at least 5 days to let the movie digest. With the first two prequels I was so much in disbelief by what I saw that I went for a repeat viewing thinking that something must have been wrong with me, cause hey, this is Star Wars, it must be good!

We got notice from Disney that only 2 people may "quality test" the film before it opens. So myself and the other manager will be watching it Wednesday night (we think, that is when Disney said they would send the key to unlock the contents of the hard drive). It will be nice to see it without a crowd but I will miss seeing it with my usual group of family and friends I have always gone to opening night. I will be going Thursday at 7Pm again, to see it with them...and I'm grateful to see it early....but the excitement will be weird with only one other person!
