Somebody who saw a sneak preview of the film said it's almost as good as Caravan of Courage. :rock

I'm soooo hyped now. :lol

I read the comments there and the criticism mainly seemed to be that it was ANH 2.0 ... which I kinda suspected all along.

Prequels too different, sequels too similar to the OT. You can't win either way. And you can't catch lightning in a bottle.

I agree. I think I will like this movie though. I just think like you do that people will complain it is too similar.

There's a big difference between thematic similarities and plot point rehashes kids!

Pretty much.
Still I'd take prequels and pre-rebooted EU over "Greatest Hits" films and rehashed EU.

The one says who the difference can't tell.

Biggest complaint is that it's 30 years too late. All those wasted years while the actors were in their prime.

This is Star Wars: The Next Generation.

The Prequels could've been made any time.

It's funny but now, knowing the plot, I'm more interested in what they did with Finn.
He's the most out-of-place yet kinda unique character in this.

I wonder if he's Disney's Kyle Katarn...
