Jye saw Godzilla 2014 several times I'm sure- I consider it a huge cluster but it had the greatest first trailer ever....oh well...

Back to TFA......I'm nervous. Good thing I haven't POed any of the HT yet...

I only saw it once in theaters, but I didn't think it was horrible. I just thought they took a step backwards by giving Harry amnesia, rushing Venom, ruining the Peter/MJ relationship, Emo Peter Parker and changing who killed Uncle Ben, but other than that, I didn't mind the film.

Now I can go back to closing my eyes while exiting this thread.

I'll be seeing this on Christmas Eve, so even if it sucks, it'll at least be better than last year's Christmas Eve (I was in the hospital and getting spinal puncure, good times...).

Can't wait. From what i'm hearing the anticipation is getting even worse.... Enjoy every minute of it. (cause with this movie the anticipation WON'T be the best part ala 1999)

I'm expecting to LIKE it but not LOVE it..why- just a feeling I have based on what I've seen. That's it. Hope to be surprised and fall head over heels- but it feels too much of ANH warmed over ....... and I will say the merchandise/publicity overkill on this has turned me off to a degree and lessened my excitement
