I'm expecting to LIKE it but not LOVE it..why- just a feeling I have based on what I've seen. That's it. Hope to be surprised and fall head over heels- but it feels too much of ANH warmed over .......

Well at least you're freely open about it. I hope you get the best out of what you're looking for!

Cixx, it's already obvious that you're going to love it man! Who cares about reviews, you've already made up your mind!? Did you order your Hot Toys Kilo Ren figure yet?
I'm here to enjoy the excitement not rain on everyone's parade like a miserable ****!

Ignore difabio he's been in here stating hate for months on and off. Stating "he's not excited at all" now he's in here constantly. Haters abound pay him no mind!!

and I will say the merchandise/publicity overkill on this has turned me off to a degree and lessened my excitement

I remember even in 1983 it was overkill Burger King with their poster of Star Wars glasses etc. I mean i guess it was fun as a kid but as an adult it does get old. I wouldn't let it turn you off though, kinda gotta bypass that part of your brain that screams SELLOUT!. But i remember even in 83' it was everywhere. But today is on a whole other level with cable TV internet etc. I always try to keep the movie and it's message separate from the merch.

That's my point- it is far far worse and I don't care that much but it's a string to make me think Disney supposedly had NO say in the creation of the film- .Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

at least you are man enough to admit it- i saw TPM twice on the big screen
A weight has been lifted....

I saw TPM six times, AotC three times, and RotS twice. I'll see this one at least once. I agree about the score and the dog fights being the most exciting parts.

He's right though. The anticipation won't be the best part, it'll be the Hot Toys that people talk about 16 years from now.

"Remember when we bought the V1 Kilo Ren doll and then a couple of months later they came out with the 2.0 with Adam Driver head and we bought that as well as thousands of dollars worth of other stuff too? Man, good times. I don't even care about those dolls anymore, I sold them for a 80 bucks a couple of years ago. Anyway, Star Wars Episode X yeahhhhhh!"
