Soundtrack is beautiful, really old school. It's in the ether right now. Seeing it tonight, pretty excited.

Its really badly used in the movie.

I couldnt say because we dont know What happens to her.
She is used as a comic relief for Finn and then Han punchlines then shes just not there anymore.
Shes supposed to have been thrown into a garbage compactor.
When star killer base explodes Suprême commander Snoke ask général Hux to bring Kylo Ren with him to meet him.
They never mention phasma again.
I guess shes dead.

It's gotten great reviews, but it sounds like a lot of the enjoyment comes from people's love of the originals. I will eventually see it but considering I don't love the original films I wonder if I'll like this updated take any more than the originals.

I don't know who's more jacked to see this movie? Me or my 7 and 9 year old sons. They are beyond excited for this. I love seeing that enthusiasm out of them for this.

Ratings are always high the first few weeks... drops about .1-.5 or so after.

I thought it was pretty great. So many nostalgic moments that got the crowd going...and a few decent laughs. There were some little things that could've been improved, particularly the pacing, but overall I'd say they did a good job of kicking off a new trilogy. Though it was pretty funny seeing a couple of young boys exclaiming after it finished that it was the "best movie ever"

Well that makes me a bit more optimistic. I fall asleep any time I try to watch the first one, I actually really like the second film and think the third ones ok.
