Star Wars: The Force Awakens (12/18/15)

Just got done. I loved it. Now, it feels different than any SW film before it, but that is probably a good thing. I am not doing the hyperbole "Holy $$%! better than Empire" dance, because it is not as good IMO as Empire or Star Wars. But it is as good as Jedi I would say upon first viewing. Spoiler free review but mention a few things and I would recommend not knowing anything:

Oh, I loved the new characters of Rey, Poe and Finn. But the movie stealer for me is Kylo. I loved his unbalanced character and sometimes he acted like a child who happens to have the Force. Throwing tantrums and generally being an unpleasant person. Driver I thought played him perfectly. Just not a bad guy character we have ever had in a SW movie before, which was kind of refreshing. Oh and don't expect much from Phasma. She looks cool and does virtually nothing. Then again, so did Boba Fett....my head is still reeling and I am going to try and get some sleep.

Tried to get a ticket today to see this but my local cinema complex is totally sold out for the first 2 weeks

Fist day tickets are changing hands for up to $1500 a pop. To rich for my blood.

My Girlfriend asked if I wanted to sell our tickets the other night

Do the words "bridge" and "face" mean anything to you after seeing it?

I am surprised to hear anyone say it "feels different than any SW film before" considering how much imagery and plot lines that we know of mirror ANH. That's a bit reassuring to hear. I guess.
