Yes but in the tradition of those 80's slasher flicks where some troubled kid puts on the hat/mask of the main killer. Kylo already crossed into a bit of F13 Pt 2 territory with the "relative's head on a shrine" deal, maybe he'll go all the way.

It'd certainly be a way for Disney to keep the suit relevant/current.

how hard can it be to get one of those medical suits?
he probably just has to go to the hospital where vader was fixed up and buy one

Wouldn't have ever thought it possible to draw parallels between Friday the 13th and TFA. :lol

Holy ****, maybe REY will put on Vader's suit to get Kylo to lower his guard so Finn can finish him off! :panic:

"You have done well Grandson, now kneel..." *slice!*

Can you imagine getting a ****ing Rey Vader figure in a few years? :horror

When outlining ROTJ Kasdan pitched the idea to Lucas to have Luke put Vader's helmet on as a feigned show of allegiance to the Emperor. Helmeted Luke was then going to request that the Emperor allow him be the one to press the button to have the Death Star blow up the Rebel Fleet but instead he changes the target and destroys the Emperor's homeworld instead (which I believe was called Had Abbadon at the time.) So there *is* a precedent for a hero wearing Vader's costume, even if it was a very early nugget of an idea that was veto'd by Lucas.

I really kind of want to see Darth Rey now. :lol

Actually in all seriousness I could see it playing out this way:

Rey dons Vader's costume. Pretends to be Vader, approaches Kylo. Kylo lets down his guard and reaches out to his beloved grandfather. Rey runs the son of a ***** through with a lightsaber. Kylo's last few seconds of life are spent in anguish as he believes he is being murdered by the one he loves the most. Poetic justice for what he did to his dad.

Maybe even structure it as a way so that's it's a bit of a surprise to the audience. Like we see that Kylo has a case with a newly restored Vader costume. Later Vader appears to him and we assume that he was somehow resurrected but then when he kills Kylo "he" removes his mask so that we see that it was just Rey who stumbled upon the outfit.

And Lucas was right in this case if true. Sounds awful. For one thing I prefer the idea that Vader's outfit is just a suit to keep him alive, it isn't in itself a signifier of being a dark side jedi - like that early Kasdan idea would suggest. ''Errr, master Palpatine, can't I just join the darkside and not put on the clunky suit? I don't even need a breathing aid, my lungs are fine''

And secondly destroying the Emperor's homeworld? Two wrongs don't make a right. I highly doubt the entirety of the inhabitants of Palpy's home planet are evil. Silly idea if true.

Yeah, Kasdan was definitely pitching some wild ideas in some of those early story meetings. :lol

Jeezus tap-dancin' Kryst, that sounds like a Scooby Doo plot. :cuckoo:
