I've waited to preorder, and BB just lowered the price, as I expected. The price is now $19.99 for the Blu and $27.99 for the Steelbook. I wonder if it will go down again on Sunday?

You can preorder. They'll adjust the price if it goes down again. Target will too. And they'll both reimburse if need be.

Not a fan of any Exclusive Packaging. I love the regular version slip case and cover art. Represents what is TFA in my books!!!

According to BB customer service, you have to actually go to a store and request a price correction. Amazon and Target do automatic price adjustments.

My situation is complicated by the fact that I use gift cards. Just a pain in the butt.

BB will charge you whatever the price is this Sunday. If its lower, that's what they'll charge you. And I've had them lower the price from when I preordered it. And yes, if you've used gift cards or gift certificates from BB, that's a whole other ballgame.

btw....I have a Target Red Card. They just reissued their Red Cards to include reader chips and they also gave me a new number. When I got mine, I went online to my account and activated it, then changed the number on my account since that's the card I use when ordering on Target online. Anyway, I got an email earlier saying they cancelled my preorder for TFA. Seems that even though I activated and changed the number on my account, any preorder I have using my old Red Card will be cancelled. I had to reorder it.

Ok, I guess thats why, because I often use gift cards that I earn through various apps.

That's a little irritating, but I have to admit, Target is usually pretty good about these things.

One thing that's bad about Target is when they give you a gift card for a preorder. They actually charge you for the gift card, then take it back off. Sometimes it's confusing on your online activity to see all these little on and off payments and credits. I just got a credit today for $3 for my Hateful Eight purchase.

I'm sure it must be, sometimes I think these companies intentionally make things confusing.

Apologies, if anyone's posted this already, but here's a summary of the deleted scenes, courtesy of an article from the Washington Post:

* Finn and the Villager: In the film’s opening moments — when Finn and his blood-smeared Stormtrooper helmet have realized they aren’t up for the job of being one of Kylo Ren’s enforcers — Finn has a moment with a villager, sparing her a rifle blast.

* Jakku Message: General Leia Organa is informed thet a village in Jakku was attacked and is updated on the statuses of fighter pilot Poe Dameron and droid BB-8.

* X-Wings Prepare for Light Speed: There’s nothing too fancy here; just X-wings in space before they hit top speed to go into battle as the pilots communicate.

* Kylo Searches the Falcon: Kylo Ren leads a team of Snowtroopers into the unoccupied Millennium Falcon and senses the presence of Han Solo. As you can imagine, he’s a little emotional. But not too much.

* Snow Speeder Chase: Rey and Finn fly around, trying their best to dodge the attack of oncoming Snowtroopers.

* Finn Will Be Fine: Well, now we don’t have to worry whether Finn will be healthy for the sequel after his duel with Kylo Ren. Turns out, he’ll be just fine.

* Tunnel Standoff: Han Solo, Finn and Chewbacca are confronted by Stormtroopers. Han does some of his classic stalling.

This blu Ray will be gold!...the digital was phenomal. Leave it to Disney :hi5:

People, it doesn't matter what version you get at any source, this transfer to blu Ray and digital is top notch.

It's so crisp I could see Rey's sweat off her forehead :horror

I
High Def makes a world of difference in detail

I wish I had a 4K tv :thud:

The extras were meh.. So don't be sad if you guys feel you are getting the wrong version. You're not missing much.

I do like the BTS segment though

All of those scenes should've been inserted back into the movie for home release where length doesn't affect box office or Imax restrictions.....FAIL!

That deleted Han Solo and troopers scene definitely would've got the movie goers laughing..it's Ford and it's typical Solo..it's Brillant

From a merchandise stand point they also needed to put the snow trooper vehicle chasing Finn and Rey back into the film
