All of those scenes should've been inserted back into the movie for home release where length doesn't affect box office or Imax restrictions.....FAIL!

I always think that with deleted scenes. I hate watching them separate from the movie. :(

Just got done watching it again.

Few complaints.

-When Rey is using the Jedi Mind Track on the stormtrooper, it cuts to a random Kylo Ren storming down the hall. Then two seconds later they cut back to Rey. Then three seconds later they cut back to Kylo entering the room. Just doesn't flow right. They should have showed the full Rey scene, then cut to Kylo storming down the hall and entering the room where Rey was being held.

-Han not kissing Leia when he leaves.

-Leia saying there is still "light in him." Just say good. Or even say there is a Jedi in him yet. The words light and dark seem to be overused in this movie.

-Chewbacca not hugging Leia.

-When Rey goes to hand the lightsaber to Luke she points the blade end towards Luke. Common practice of handing a weapon over is that you put the handle of a weapon towards the person you are handing it to. If it was a gun, would she be pointing the gun at Luke? Another thing missed.

Still one of my favorite movies of all time. So many great scenes. Personal favorites are...

-Kylo using the force to stop the blaster shot.
-Rey sliding down the hill with the music in the background.
-Rey stopping the Falcon and it flipping over so Finn can get a shot
-Han and Chewbacca entering the Falcon
-Obi-Wan's voice over
-Close up of Ren's helmet and then him looking at Vader's burnt helmet.
-Snoke (aka Plagueis) scenes.
-Hux's speech
-Finn igniting the saber in the snow
-Rey vs Ren close up when Ren has Rey backed to the edge of the cliff
-Land splitting Rey and Ren apart
-Luke

-Han not kissing Leia when he leaves.

I don't think she can kiss any more due to all the Botox and plastic surgery. She can barely deliver her lines.

Carrie was an embarrassment, and for me the lowest point in the film.

He didn't think she should have been in the film either. :monkey3

Hell, there's three different versions at Best Buy... which is the best to get? Any recommendations?

I don't really care about 'steelbooks' or stuff like that, but I would like as many 'behind the scenes' bits as I can get.

Target gives you the most behind the scenes features but they aren't on disc, you download them with a code.

F that.

I want them on disc. I'm only buying from Best Buy. Are they all the same content, just different packaging?

Also, the preorder price of $19.99... will that go up on Tuesday?

Yup and the disc have different artwork on the Steelbook..that's all

And to answer your question they save money making the scenes a link to footage rather than on disc. I've read some stores found that employees take the discs out

Yet there are still some that have extra discs.

If anything, the price may go down Sunday, as stores scramble to compete with eachother. If not, the 19.99 price will be good all week.

So the regular blu ray offering as Best Buy will have everything that all other disc offerings at Best Buy has?

I guess in the end it doesn't matter as I'll be getting the 3D version of this in Xmas also, so by then there's likely more that will be added.

Stores are ready to battle for our business. Target the other day already had their display up for the blu Ray. TRU started a mini display . BB has a display just to pre order when you walk in. I heard when I was at Walmart Thursday I heard the manager talking to the employees that they were going to rearrange the toy section and put some of the SW toys with the blu Ray sections. Disney store has huge banners up.

Don't worry guys, there will be plenty of sources to find the blu Ray come Tuesday

BB, Target, Walmart, TRU regular versions are all the same.

All the exclusives are slightly different

BB has the Steelbook, Target has the bonus code, Walmart exclusive are different covers with some cheesy figures. Disneystore's merchandise on SW will be discounted so people can use their coupon

Amazon has the digital for $17.99 also. Is Amazon doing any promotion other than the digital?

Nice. Early delivery?

I like how retailers aren't allowed to break street date for releases, but can ship them ahead of time and if they get delivered before street date, oh well.

Should have shipped my steel book instead of doing store pickup.

A friend in Northern California bought the Steelbook at a Best Buy there today. I've seen some folks post purchases from Walmart as well. So they're definitely some hitting store floors early. I'm surprised the SKUs ring up at the register, though.
