Watching the movie again, I just realized that Chewie helps Han and Finn escaped from inside Maz's ruined Castle, after it was explained that Chewie stayed inside the Falcon. Guess he did a super fast Wookie Sprint to the Castle as soon as he saw the incoming FO.

Could've slept with someone that was force sensitive! But yeah, the likelier theory is that Han knows (or eventually realizes) she's Luke's daughter. Perhaps he had a hand in relocating her and feels extra bad when she says that line about never seeing that much green.

Yeah, that was the feeling I got upon seeing Han's reaction to her statement about not knowing there was that much green; that he was feeling some guilt there. I agree with your second theory that she's probably Luke's daughter, but that Solo was probably complicit in relocating her to Jakku, to protect her. My guess is that sometime between when he and Chewie find her and Finn on the Falcon, and when they're talking in that scene, he has realized that she is Luke's daughter.

Chewie went downstairs with Han and Finn when Maz showed them Luke's lightsaber so he was with them before the FO attack.

Rey is Lukes daughter, kylo used to look after her as a kid, they were very close. When he turned bad and the Knights of Ren destroyed the Jedi academy, he saved her and killed one of the Knights who was about to kill her (in the vision) kylo took Rey and hid her on Jaaku. According to new ECU Jaaku has more relevance to the first order than is apparent from TFA. No one else knew she survived. Luke thought his daughter died with her mother at the massacre. Which is why he is confused and emotional at the end. He thought she was dead for years, but sensed her when her powers awakened.. Kylo is living with that knowledge, he was too weak to kill her, thus all the relevance of the weakness of family ties just like Vader. It's why killing solo was so important. And his freak out "what girl"...

...or something..

Watched it last night on Blu... I don't know. I like it but I don't love it. Actually I really enjoy the 1st hour. Everything is great until they get to the green planet. Then everything just sort of feels... Smaller.. I don't know. The action is never as big as any other SW film. The best action scene is the Falcon vs the Tie Fighters... But the other action scenes are never epic... just sort of small. My 7 ear old turned to me and said.. "you know what I don't like about this SW movie.. All the planets look too much like earth" I agree and thought that when I saw the film. Sure the OT used real locations but other then The forest moon of Endor every planet had a feel and a personality. These planets lacked that. It's what gave it that filmed in someone's back yard feel. But again this film would have really been helped by a "hang your hat on it" action scene. The Attack on the Star Killer base would have been good but they never focused on the space battle.. The saber duels were only OK and the escape from the "Star Killer" base really lacked any excitement. You stick an action scene in there as epic as the Hoth battle, Asteroid chase, 1st and 2nd Death Star attack, Rescue of the Princess or escape from the Death star space battle and I think TFA would be up there with the original three easily. But instead everything felt small... This was the first Star Wars film were I felt it was just a movie instead of a Galaxy far far away... HAving said that if the next two films turn out great then I think it will help this film. Sort of like how everything kept getting bigger in LOTR. Although I thought all the action in FOTR was pretty epic though :) Nothing in the new SW film rivaled that.

Some of the other issues I have like ray being practically all powerful and great at everything.. I am willing to wait and see what answers are given in the next film... It better be more then she is just "strong" with the force Or it could ruin things to come :(

Basically all my complaints are the same as when I first saw the film :lol I was hoping that repeat viewing would allow me to accept its faults a bit more.

I give it 3.5 out of 5 and don't think it's as good as the original 3.

:goodpost::lecture
You described my feelings exactly. The movie made this galaxy feel really small but I enjoyed everything before they got to the space bar/lounge.
