What? Did you miss the Luke/Han bromance from the original three films?

Nah, Luke/Han were more friends out of mutual respect for one another that was forged through a shared galactic adventure.

Finn and Poe were practically totes besties in a span of 5 minutes. You could see the genuine enthusiasm they both had being around each other. I think Han tolerated Luke for about 3/4 of SW and then decided the kid was OK.

I saw a TIE Fighter get spanked by a Star Destroyer in space. All the other ship to ship combat was within an atmosphere.

I also regret that the only time the Falcon really showed what it could do it wasn't Han flying.

I think you are spot on. It's what I believe too and dammt, Disney better deliver that story line or I am going to let loose a ROAR OF ENTITLEMENT the likes of which have never been seen on this board.

Okay, for "space battle" read "dogfight". But I was still hoping for more chaos with more and bigger ships involved, like GOTG and ROTS.

I think it would be nice to see that. Have Rey and Poe in the space battle working together like Anakin and Obi-Wan to get to a command ship to save someone

Their huge planetary gun that was 3 x the size of a Death Star, gone!

The end assault in TFA had zero tension.

Actually looks like the head of a kryptonian ship!

Yeah I get what you are saying about painting in a corner.. I just wish it was as good or as Epic as A New Hopes DS battle.
