I think luke will have a tragic end in episode 9 but after han dying I hate the thought of luke dying as much as the thought of Leia getting into the gold bikini again.

You mean that Snoke was Vader's secret apprentice? An apprentice who would have been replaced had Luke joined the dark side. But he survived the end of the Empire. Now Snoke hates the Skywalkers and wants to lure Luke out to finish off the last of the line for good (including Kylo after that).

That would be a nice reveal. However, he wasn't a Sith, but that can be taken care of and explained with very creative writing, so..... anything is still possible.

It's funny that the picture posted of him above is what he was doing just before the Death Star exploded. They would have to get extremely creative writing to explain his existence.
