Apparently George Lucas and David Prowse don't get along. At all. Weird. That probably explains why he didn't wear the suit in RotS or get any unmasked cameos like so many other cast members did. Probably doesn't help he's so open about his disdain for the PT.

Prowse became a bit bitter about being in Star Wars because he didn't get much attention since no one ever saw his face and people thought of Darth Vader as James Earl Jones rather than him. It's a similar situation with Anthony Daniels, though Daniels stuck through it. And Prowse gave away a lot of spoilers to press while he was working on the films.

Prowse got wind of 'I am your Father' from Mark Hamill and then leaked that......only no one believed it because it sounded so improbable at the time.

The story goes Hamill was told by Kirschner in his dressing room before the infamous scene 'Vader's Luke's father'. Hamill still hear's Prowse saying the line 'Obi-Wan killed your father' but reacts to it differently. Afterwards they're sitting about, talking about the scene they'd done when Hamill lets slip.

Prowse tells the press and Lucas warns the cast not to tell Prowse any RotJ script details, then extends the amount of scenes Bob Anderson will now play Vader in RotJ and hires Sebastian Shaw to play Anakin unmasked...... all without telling Prowse.

A shame given Prowse is Vader physically, but I see no problem with that. Dude ****ed up to get attention. Rather than stay bitter over it all these years, he should own up to it.

The suspense is killing me. When we actually find out WTF this movie is gonna be about, the reaction i'll probably have is OMFG ROXOR LEET 1138 HOLEE SHYYT, Or....Meh, we'll see.

I do have faith though with everything i've heard so far.

There's been quite a few falling out's since 1977 but the best has got to be between R2 actor Kenny Baker and Anthony Daniels, it all started when Daniels thought he was above Baker (no pun....). But it all kicked off when Baker's wife died and Daniels totally ignored him when they where on set next. The story goes its so bad now Baker says if he see's Daniels again he'll bite his b@lls off

That's not how it went. Prowse only found out about the I am your father scene during the premier. He was pissed cause he would have played it differently.

He did however joked about Vader being Luke father before they shot ESB. Obviously back then everyone did not take it seriously.

Who would have thought his joke was prophetic.

Basically David Prowse has a history of leaking many story details to the press, even during ANH. Hence GL taking a very defensive stance regarding Prowse.

He just couldn't keep his mouth shut.
