Star Wars Episode VII has a DP and will be shot in 35mm! - Ain't It Cool News
On the technical side of things, they seem to be making all the right decisions.

What a freaking insult to Lucas. The PT seemingly attempted to pioneer the mainstream conversion of all movies to digital photography and it doesn't even stay that way for the Star Wars films themselves.

No kidding, just goes to show George's focus was all wrong. More concerned about the technology and less about what makes SW Star Wars.
