Think Jane Seymour. She's actually a few years older than Carrie and she still looks great. She also was a princess of 1977 in Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger. Too bad Carrie didn't go that route.

Jane Seymour... still :monkey5:naughty

same with Cassandra Peterson still looks great

Of course I am judgemental and so are you....everytime you make a right or evil choice in life you made a judgement ;)

Did I send her to hell? (that is judging) No,I didn't.She chose a dark path and it clearly shows.

Then stop being completely ****ing hypocritical. Ford's just as much a drug addict as Carrie. Hell, at least she does her interviews sober. Ford's usually high as a kite.

Harrison's drug taking is purely medisinal, he needs it to calm is nervs, he always smokes before talk shows, it's well known.

Excuses are like *******s. He's still using what in California is still considered an illegal substance, getting high all the ****ing time. Likely more than Carrie. Teemu libeling Carrie about drug use is wholly hypocritical given he lets Harrison have a pass about his.

Are you comparing Pot to Coke?

:cuckoo::lol

Smoke pot ALL the time, and do coke ALL the time and see what happens. (Don't think Carrie is smoking the green)

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (12/18/15) Discussion Thread

As I suggested a while ago I think they should pull a "Rocky Balboa" and have this movie take place after Leia died of natural causes. Then Carrie can always have had her dignity as a SW character and Han can be an edgy grizzled badass.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VII (12/18/15) Discussion Thread

Its very difficult for some to let go of her character, of what Carrie Fisher once was.

Like most she's had her life ups and downs since we last saw her up on the big screen as Leia 31 years ago, but it seems her downs have taken its toll.

Maybe we're asking too much of her, expecting her to go swashbuckling like she's 19 all over again.

What is it that her die hard fans want to see her do as Leia 31 years after ROTJ?

Would her just sitting in a chair suffice, or does she need to swing thru another chasm?

I'd be fine if my last image of Leia is her sitting next to Han, celebrating in the ewok village. Otherwise I picture her sitting on a chair, behind a desk as some sort of administrative/royal figure. And honestly I've seen "old Carrie" have so many cameos (even in things like Fanboys) that I don't know that even that would be necessary. Heck I even met her at CVI briefly. I say let her reign in the OT and call it good.

hypocritical of what? they are both wrong and stupid for doing Drugs...why are you defending them? are you related to them? :cuckoo:

Edit-I wasn't aware Ford did drugs to begin with because I don't follow Actors like some do here ;)

Exactly. Never forget. :lecture

Yeah, and it almost undid how ****ing brilliant she was in Raiders. :lol

What blows my mind is that her Marion Ravenwood character is in my favorite movie of all time and also in a movie that I will never watch again. :lol

Yes, I place Raiders over Batman 89, STM, Robocop 1, T2, Aliens, Avengers, TDK, Godfather 1/2, Jurassic Park, Good Bad Ugly, SW, ESB.

Yet I only own a regular DVD of Raiders (not even a BR) and not one single collectible from that movie, not even a poster. :lol

I'm patiently waiting for the 4K Raiders. :drool
