It's why I wonder how people can think ROTS is the best of the PT with such a significant **** up. Padme's weak capitulation being another.

I cannot possibly consider these things canon. If I do, the OT loses impact.

I'm not talking about Anakin killing kids (that was terrible and too extreme). I'm talking about the scene before that where they're just marching up the temple steps. That's a great scene with the blaring soundtrack and atmosphere. This is about the Clones too mind you, not that piece of filth Anakin.

Yeah, Rory is nuts. :lol

But I get a-dev's point, that cool marching scene leads to the slaughter of the lambs.

My point was actually just limited to the monumental mistake of having Anakin personally killing kids since that was brought up.

I guess in isolation Anakin leading the 501st up the steps of the jedi temple to John Williams music could be considered cool.

Maybe he didn't kill the kids bro, it cuts away.

I'm sure there's a EU book or video game that touches upon this.

I agree Padme was out of character (baby brain?) but didn't have a problem with the child-killing. And redemption didn't mean all was forgiven, it just meant balance was restored.

I'm sure he was just going to teach the kids the ancient art of lightsaber dancing.

On a side note, I find it interesting how people call him Anakin, when in fact, he was already officially Darth Vader when he kills the kiddies and cries about it two scenes later :lol

There was nothing about 'balance' in the OT.

Certainly not here:

It meant ''you're a good guy afterall''

I guess it comes down to Vader's duality as a character. Obi-Wan always referred to them as separate identities. "The good man who was Anakin Skywalker was gone... now he'sa back!"

Dunno why people hate that scene so much. Happens all the time in martial arts movies: posturing, looking for an opening...

Probably prolonged by each being able to anticipate the other's moves, and both being reluctant to strike.

Great post. :rock It's just the prequel haters. Wor-Gar, Andrew and Riddick have personality issues. I never had a problem with it either. I did however have a problem when they jumped onto the heads of the little glowing blue floaty robot things. But I thought the rest of it was cool, mostly because of the music. battle of the heroes is an incredible piece of music.

I have personality issues for sure, but... why?
I love PT and those fight scenes were freaking awesome.

Only joking, you get a pass, forgot you liked the PT.

Well I do think Wor-gar and Andrew have issues. Wor-Gar has duel of the fates playing *in his head* 24/7 and Andrew can't order at McDonalds without mentioning Terminator.
:lol
