With all this talk of a possible new Solo family, did Jacen, Jaina and Anakin Solo get canned with the new canonicity?

Keeping my expectations firmly in check. Trailer looked good. The music was the best thing about it, imo. I wasn't even going to attend the premiere showing at m local theater but then my brother called sating he bought me and my two sons tickets too see it with him at 7 on 12/17. :rock

Regardless of the brave new world Episode VII is creating, I thought the trailer showed something that felt stronger with the essence of the original Star Wars than I felt from the Prequels (until right near the end of ROTS).

Scenes look like they're filled with real people rather than CGI cartoons (even if they may be just better quality CGI!)

:exactly: This looks more intense and it feels Dark, which is what is the theme. You wouldn't think it's still SW if you didn't see Han, Leia, Chewy and the Falcon.

No one has asked who/what is Rey slumped over crying about? Looks like somebody dies in the snowy forest to me....

I'm gonna buy scalper's seats right in front of you and hold up my lightsaber during the entire movie.

(this is why I fear going to opening night -- to have some jackass sitting behind me over-reacting to everything, and crying when Han Solo shows up, or yelling "Use the Force" at the screen every five minutes)
